Previous issue date: 2014 / Nesta pesquisa, buscamos compreender o funcionamento discursivo de eventos internacionais
sobre Língua Portuguesa, organizados e promovidos pelo Instituto Internacional da Língua
Portuguesa (IILP), a partir das textualizações disponíveis nas páginas eletrônicas destes
eventos. Inscrevemo-nos na perspectiva teórico-metodológica da Análise de Discurso (AD),
desenvolvida, sobretudo, a partir dos trabalhos de Michel Pêcheux e Eni Orlandi, articulada à
História das Ideias Linguísticas (HIL). As perguntas norteadoras do trabalho foram: (i) que
política(s) de línguas constitui sentidos sobre língua portuguesa nos eventos internacionais?
(ii) que filiações de sentidos conformam a relação entre a unidade e a diversidade da língua
portuguesa nos eventos analisados? Para desenvolver nosso gesto de interpretação,
construímos um arquivo, com as textualizações recortadas das páginas eletrônicas de sete
eventos internacionais, realizados entre os anos de 2010 (data do primeiro evento) e 2013.
Concluímos que os eventos são conformados por sentidos constituídos pelo funcionamento
dos imaginários da mundialização/globalização e da lusofonia. Os sentidos produzidos por
estes imaginários constituem uma política de unidade, homogeneidade, universalidade da
língua e dos Estados da Comunidade de Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP). A língua
portuguesa é significada como una, igual em todos os países da CPLP, tendo como referência
a língua do colonizador, silenciando os sentidos da descolonização linguística. Esses
imaginários, porém, não se inscrevem sem equívocos, contradições, resistências produzidas
pela diversidade linguística, pelo funcionamento do político que desestabiliza os sentidos de
unidade. / In this research, we aimed to comprehend the discursive functioning of international events of
Portuguese Language, organized and promoted by International Institute of Portuguese
Language, from the textualization available in the events' web site. We analyzed according to
theoretical-methodological perspective of Discourse Analysis based on the work of Michel
Pêcheux and Eni Orlandi, articulated to Linguistic History of Ideas. The questions that guided
this work were: (i) what is the linguistic politics that constitute senses about Portuguese
language? (ii) what sense affiliations do the events conform the relation between unit and
diversity of Portuguese in the events analyzed? In order do developed our interpretation
gesture, we constructed an archive with the textualization of the cutouts from seven scientific
events' web site held between 2010 (date of the first event) and 2013. We concluded that the
events are conformed by senses constituted by the function of globalization and the Lusofonia
imaginaries. Senses produced by these imaginaries constitute a politic of unit, homogeneity,
university of language and of the States of Community of Countries of Portuguese Language
(CPLP). Portuguese language is meant as united, equal in all countries of CPLP, having as
reference the colonizer language, silencing the linguistic decolonization senses. These
imaginaries, however, do not constitute without equivocal, contradictions, resistance produced
by linguistic diversity, by the politic function that destabilize the unit senses.
