O m etodo LTSN é um método de solução analítica para o conjunto de equações diferenciais ordininárias resultantes da aproximação de ordenadas discretas SN da equação unidimensional de transporte de partí culas neutras, isto e, a solução para o sistema de equações SN e obtida sem aproximações ao longo de sua derivação Classicamente, devido a existência de uma singularidade na direção u= 0, N e considerado par. Neste trabalho, com o objetivo de estudar a influência desta singularidade no comportamento da solução , e apresentada uma soluçao analítica para o conjunto de equações SN, considerando N mpar. Simulações numéricas e comparação com os resultados obtidos pelo método LTSN com N par são apresentadas. / The LTSN method is an analytical method to solve the system of differential equations resulting from the discrete ordinates (SN) approximation to the neutral partide transport equation, i.e., the solution of the system SN equations is obtained without approximations in its derivation. Classically, due to the existence of a singularity in the direction = 0, N is taken even numbers. In this work, in order to study the in uence of this singularity in the solution behavior, an analytical solution is presented for the system of the SN equations with odd N. Numerical simulations and comparisons with the results obtained by the LTSN method with even N are presented.
