O propósito desta dissertação é realizar uma investigação sobre o comportamento do consumidor frente à insatisfação com eletrodomésticos, em Santa Maria (RS). Primeiramente, revisam-se os fundamentos teóricos relativos ao tema. A seguir, apresentase a metodologia empregada neste trabalho, ressaltando-se as três etapas de pesquisa realizadas. Na primeira, exploratória, selecionou-se a amostra desejada - cento e sessenta consumidores insatisfeitos. Na segunda, qualitativa, realizou-se vinte entrevistas em profundidade, que deram origem a um questionário estruturado. E na última, quantitativa, os questionários foram auto-preenchidos pelos respondentes e seus dados tratados estatisticamente. Finalmente, os resultados são apresentados e, baseando-se na estrutura teórica que subsidiou o trabalho, são feitas algumas conclusões relativas ao comportamento do consumidor insatisfeito com eletrodomésticos. / The purpose of this study is to investigate the behavior of the dissatisfied consumer with household appliances, in Santa Maria - RS. Firstly, the theorical basis concerning the theme was reviewed. Next, the methodology applied in this work was presented, emphasizing the three phases of research. In the first, exploratory phase, the sample was chosen one hundred and sixty dissatisfied consumers. In the second, qualitative phase, twenty in depth interviews were done, originating a structured questionnaire. In the last, quantitative phase, the questionnaires were filled out by the respondents and all the data treated statistically. The results were finally presented. Based on the theory of this work, some conclusions concerning the dissatisfaction of the consumers with household apiliances were taken into consideration.
