Um problema matemático interessante consiste no estudo do conjunto das raízes de uma família de polinômios cujos coeficientes são restritos por certas condições. O trabalho [2] analisa polinômios cujos coeficientes são zeros ou uns, provando que o fecho do conjunto das raízes complexas destes polinômios é conexo por caminhos. Neste trabalho vamos considerar a família de polinômios cujos coeficientes são inteiros entre - M e M, para M dado. Vamos mostrar que o fecho do conjunto das raízes reais não-nulas destes polinômios é a união de dois intervalos. Para isso, será necessário analisar também séries de potências com coeficientes restritos pelas mesmas condições. / An interesting mathematical problem is the study of the set of zeros of a family of polynomials whose coefficients are restricted by certain conditions. The paper [2], for example, analyses polynomials which coefficients are O or 1, proving that the closure o f the set of complex zeros of these polynomials is path connected. We will consider here the family of polynomials with integers coefficients between - M and M , for M given. We will show that the closure of the set of non-zero real zeros ofthese polynomials is the union oftwo intervals. For this purpose, it will be necessary to analyze also power series with coefficients restricted by the same conditions.
