Previous issue date: 2012 / CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O presente trabalho visou estudar aspectos fundamentais da recepção crítica da obra dramática de Gonçalves Dias. Para isso buscou-se, em primeiro lugar, compreender o lugar da obra dramática do autor em sua produção literária considerando-se algumas críticas ao poeta publicadas em periódicos, revistas e em obras pertencentes à historiografia literária do século XIX e XX. Em segundo lugar, buscou-se compreender o lugar da produção dramática do autor por meio da análise de sua correspondência ativa. / This work aimed to study fundamental aspects of the critical reception of the dramatic work of Gonçalves Dias. To this end we sought, firstly, understand the place of the dramatic work of the author in his literary production considering some criticisms of the poet published in journals, magazines and literary works belonging to the historiography of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Secondly, we sought to understand the place of dramatic theater production of the author through the analysis of his active correspondence.
