(1994), de que ela não é uma coisa em si, mas a relação entre as coisas, uma
relação que se manifesta como paisagem quando ganha um determinado sentido
individual ou coletivo, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar em que medida a
relação entre a ferrovia e a serra das Russas, no agreste pernambucano, ganha
sentido e se manifesta como paisagem para os diversos grupos envolvidos.
Entendendo que a apreensão de uma paisagem implica numa certa “forma de ver”,
que passa por todos os sentidos e não apenas o da visão, e de “dizer”, que diz
respeito à linguagem verbal e compreende o pensamento e as palavras que o
expressam, o método utilizado para a pesquisa lançou mão de procedimentos
metodológicos como a pesquisa documental e a observação direta para a
compreensão do objeto de estudo a partir das relações que ele estabelece com o
meio e a sociedade no tempo e no espaço. A partir disso, as entrevistas
semiestruturadas e os mapas mentais foram utilizados como técnicas que ajudaram
a revelar em que medida essas relações estabelecidas ganham sentido e se
revelam como paisagem nas suas dimensões objetivas e subjetivas para os diversos
grupos envolvidos. A análise do material coletado revelou que, assim como
preconiza Berque (1994), a paisagem, apesar de sua evidência, é uma invenção
sempre nova da realidade e pode ser apreendida de modo diverso pelos indivíduos
que com ela estabelecem relações distintas no tempo e no espaço. A paisagem é
uma entidade extremamente complexa, que requer uma multiplicidade de olhares e
abordagens. Sua identificação e gestão devem ser um esforço coletivo, incluindo
não apenas o olhar técnico do especialista, mas o olhar de todos os envolvidos.
Entender o trecho ferroviário da serra das Russas nessa perspectiva relacional pode
abrir caminho para um reconhecimento mais amplo dos seus valores culturais. / Based on the notion of landscape discussed by philosopher and geographer
Augustin Berque (1994), that it is not a thing in itself, but the relationship between
things, a relationship that manifests as landscape when it win a certain individual or
collective sense, this research aims to investigate the extent to which the relationship
between the railroad and mountain of Russas, in the wild of Pernambuco, makes
sense and manifests as landscape for the various groups involved. Understanding
that the seizure of a landscape implies a certain "way of seeing" that goes through all
the senses, not just vision, and "tell", with regard to verbal language and understands
the thought and the words express, the method used for the research drew on
methodological procedures such as direct observation and documentary research to
understand the object of study from the relationships he establishes with the
environment and society in time and space. From this, the semi-structured interviews
and mental maps were used as techniques that helped reveal the extent to which
these established relationships gain meaning and reveal how the landscape in their
objective and subjective dimensions for the various groups involved. The analysis
revealed that the material collected, as well as advocates Berque (1994), the
landscape, despite its obviousness, is an invention ever new of reality and can be
understood differently by individuals who establish relationships with her distinct in
time and space. The landscape is extremely complex entity, which requires a
multiplicity of perspectives and approaches. It identification and management should
be a collective effort, including not only the technical view of the expert, but the look
of all involved. Understanding the railway section of Russas in this relational
perspective can make way for a wider recognition of their cultural values.
