Previous issue date: 2016-03-14 / CNPQ / Diante da crise ecológica que a humanidade enfrenta e das inúmeras ações que visam auxiliar no desenvolvimento sustentável e que não fornecem subsídios efetivos para uma transformação da relação humana com o meio em que vivemos, esta pesquisa pretende mostrar que devemos questionar o modelo de formação cultural vigente e a adequação metafísica à qual ele está fundado. Neste processo colocamos no ápice da questão ambiental a visão de mundo e os mitos que fundam nossa sociedade ocidental, para a partir deles compreender os interesses que distanciaram o ser humano do mundo que o cerca. Gerando uma perspectiva de dualidade na relação com o sagrado que encara a natureza como fornecedora de recursos para o desenvolvimento da sociedade humana, que ao mesmo tempo entende o habitar a Terra como uma passagem para uma eternidade que deverá vir em outro plano. Esta visão tem implicações graves que fundamentam um agir incoerente com a vida e com a desejada sustentabilidade. Fazemos então um aprofundamento na área da filosofia ambiental trazendo o pensamento do holandês Bento de Espinosa para rediscutir a questão ecológica, reposicionando o homem na natureza e instaurando a imanência como virtude racional que conduzirá a ações ecológicas efetivas. É a partir desta análise que concluímos que a perspectiva monista possui inerentemente a sua concepção uma maior convergência com a ecologia, necessitando ser mais pesquisada e refletida. / Given the ecological crisis facing humanity and the many actions that are intended to assist in the sustainable development and do not provide effective support to a transformation of the human relationship with the environment in which we live, this research intended to show that we must question the prevailing model of cultural formation adequacy and metaphysics to which it is founded. In this process we put environmental issues at the apex of the worldview and myths that underlie our western society, from them to understand the interests that distanced humans from the world around him. Generating a perspective of duality in relation with the sacred that regards nature as a provider of resources for the development of human society, at the same time understands inhabit the Earth as a gateway to eternity that will come on another plane. This view has serious implications that underlie an incoherent act with life and with the desired sustainability. We intend to further research in the area of environmental philosophy bringing the thought of the dutchman Benedict Spinoza to revisit the ecological question, repositioning the man in nature and establishing immanence as rational virtue that lead to effective ecological actions.
