Previous issue date: 2017-06-30 / CAPES / A pesquisa teve o intuito de investigar como integrantes de uma rede colaborativa de hospedagem significam suas relações de troca com outros membros a partir das histórias que contam. A proposta desta tese foi compreender como as relações entre membros de uma rede colaborativa de hospedagem (Couchsurfing) são construídas, levando-se em conta a existência de aspectos utilitários e hedônicos nessas relações e que poderia haver uma preponderância de aspectos de cocriação nesse processo. Para o estudo, adotou-se a perspectiva construcionista e, como estratégia de pesquisa, a análise narrativa. O corpus da pesquisa foi tratado a partir das técnicas de análise temática e estrutural da pesquisa narrativa. Inspirando-se na abordagem da sociabilidade e hospitalidade em rede, pôde-se chegar ao resultado que o significado das relações é coconstruído tendo como base as seguintes categorias: a construção da reputação social, a partir das referências obtidas na rede; a sintonia e similaridade dos aspectos comuns entre os membros é o que traz qualidade às relações e, o convívio social confere o fortalecimento das relações por meio de interações com os amigos e familiares entre os membros da rede, a partir de contextos que envolvem comida, cultura, música. Ao final, propõe-se a troca relacional como forma de melhor compreender o consumo colaborativo e os fenômenos contemporâneos que envolvem redes; experiência de consumo e relações de troca. Ressalte-se que apesar de as relações terem um papel preponderante, essa troca relacional carrega aspectos utilitários. / The research aimed to investigate how members of a collaborative hosting network signify their exchange relationships with other members from the stories they tell. The purpose of this thesis was to understand how the relations between members of a collaborative hosting network (Couchsurfing) are constructed, taking into account the existence of utilitarian and hedonic aspects in these relations and that there could be a preponderance of aspects of cocreation in this process. The constructivist perspective was adopted and as a research strategy the narrative analysis. The research corpus was treated using the thematic and structural analysis techniques of narrative research. Inspired by the approach of sociability and networked hospitality, it was possible to arrive at the result that the meaning of the relations is coconstructed based on the following categories: the social reputation construction, from the references obtained in the network; the attunement and similarity of the common aspects among the members is what brings quality to the relationships, and the social conviviality confers the strengthening of the relations through interactions with the friends and relatives among the members of the network, from contexts involving food, culture, music. In the end, it is proposed the relational exchange as a way to better understand the collaborative consumption and the contemporary phenomena that involve networks; consumer experience and exchange ratios. It should be emphasized that although relations play a preponderant role, this relational exchange carries utilitarian aspects..
