Objetivou-se nesse trabalho avaliar diferentes doses de biofertilizante e de aduba??o mineral em Panicum maximum cv. Massai na regi?o Litor?nea do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte. O experimento foi conduzido em campo com delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso com seis tratamentos e quatro repeti??es, sendo os tratamentos: 0, 10, 20, 30 e 40 t/ha de biofertilizante. Al?m destes, utilizou-se um tratamento com aduba??o mineral (NP). As vari?veis analisadas nos experimentos foram altura do pasto (AL), intercepta??o de luz (IL), ?ndice de ?rea foliar (IAF), clorofila total (CLO), produ??o de mat?ria seca (PMS), taxa de ac?mulo de MS de forragem (TAF), ac?mulo de folha (AFo), ac?mulo de material morto (AMM) e ac?mulo de invasoras (PIn) de pasto de campi-massai. A coleta dos dados foram feitas a cada 60 dias durante seis meses, totalizando tr?s coletas. Os dados foram retirados da ?rea ?til de cada parcela (8,16 m?). Houve efeito linear positivo para todas vari?veis estudadas a medida que aumentou-se a dose de biofertilizante, exceto para as vari?veis AMM e AIn. A aduba??o mineral promoveu melhores resultados que as doses de biofertilizante para as vari?veis IL, IAF, PMS, TAF e AFo e se assemelhou a dose de 40 t/ha, dose m?xima, para vari?veis AL, CLO, AMM e AIn. Recomenda-se novos experimentos para avalia??o de doses maiores que 40 t/ha, a fim de identificar a m?xima produ??o do capim-massai adubado com biofertilizante. / The use of mineral fertilizers and especially of organic manure on pasture production systems are still poorly adopted in Brazilian northeastern. This work aimed to evaluate different doses of biofertilizers and mineral fertilizer in Panicum maximum cv. Massai in Quartzipsamment. The experiment was conducted at the Escola Agr?cola de Jundia?, Maca?ba, RN, led in experimental design fields in random blocks with six treatments and four replications, as treatments: 0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 t ha-1 of biofertilizer. In addition, we used a treatment with mineral fertilizer (NP). The variables analyzed in the experiments were: height of pasture (AL), light interception (IL), leaf area index (IAF), total chlorophyll (CLO), dry matter production (PMS), forage accumulation rate (TAF), leaf accumulation (AFo), dead material accumulation (AMM) and accumulation of weeds (PIn) in massai grass pastures. Data collection were made every 60 days for six months, in three collections. Data were taken from the useful area of each parcel (8.16 m?). There was a positive linear effect for all variables as they increased the dose of biofertilizers, except for the AMM and AIn variables. The mineral fertilizer promoted better results than the doses of biofertilizers for IL, IAF, PMS, TAF and AFo variables were similar to dose of 40 t ha-1 of biofertilizers for AL, CLO, AMM and AIn variables. It is recommended to do new experiments to evaluate higher doses than 40 t ha-1 to identify the maximum capacity of massai grass fertilized with biofertilizer.
