Previous issue date: 2017-07-31 / Este trabalho analisou a gest?o de pessoas, do ponto de vista estrat?gico, observando a influ?ncia da Educa??o Corporativa, aplicada pela UNICORREIOS, no desenvolvimento da carreira profissional dos empregados da Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Tel?grafos - ECT. O estudo se baseou no referencial te?rico de Gest?o de Pessoas, utilizando como ancora avaliativa o sistema de administra??o de carreiras proposto por Dutra (1996). Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza descritiva, do tipo estudo de caso, com uma abordagem de an?lise quantitativa e qualitativa. O estudo foi realizado na Diretoria Regional do Rio Grande do Norte e foi composto por 332 sujeitos, divididos em 3 grupos (Gestores, Facilitadores e Empregados). Os dados prim?rios foram colhidos atrav?s de entrevistas semiestruturadas com os grupos de gestores e facilitadores, al?m da utiliza??o de question?rio, com escala Likert, aplicado junto ao grupo de empregados. A abordagem de an?lise dos dados qualitativos foi realizada atrav?s da an?lise documental e da an?lise de conte?do (BARDIN, 2011), enquanto que o tratamento dos dados quantitativos foi realizado por meio de estat?stica descritiva, com a utiliza??o o coeficiente de correla??o de Spearman. A pesquisa identificou haver uma forte integra??o entre o Sistema de Educa??o Corporativa e os objetivos estrat?gicos da ECT. Os resultados demostram existir uma influ?ncia moderada entre a Educa??o Corporativa oferecida pela UNICORREIOS e o desenvolvimento da carreira profissional, principalmente no que tange as vari?veis impulso no desenvolvimento e frequ?ncia na participa??o dos empregados. Os indicadores ainda sugerem uma rela??o forte entre as vari?veis, ac?mulo de capital de carreira e a percep??o de recompensas. Por?m verificou-se que, do ponto de vista dos empregados, a rela??o entre sua participa??o no Sistema de Educa??o Corporativa e a possibilidade de recompensas advindas dessa participa??o, mesmo que exitosa, n?o ? totalmente clara. / This work analyzed the management of people, from a strategic point of view, observing the influence of Corporate Education, applied by UNICORREIOS, in the development of the professional career of the employees of the Brazilian Postal and Telegraph Company - ECT. The study was based on the theoretical reference of People Management, using as evaluation anchor the system of career management proposed by Dutra (1996). This is a descriptive, case-study-type research with a quantitative and qualitative analysis approach. The study was conducted at the Regional Board of Rio Grande do Norte and was composed of 332 subjects, divided into 3 groups (Managers, Facilitators and Employees). The primary data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the groups of managers and facilitators, as well as the use of a questionnaire with a Likert scale applied to the group of employees. The qualitative data analysis approach was performed through documentary analysis and content analysis (BARDIN, 2011), while the treatment of quantitative data was performed using descriptive statistics, using the Spearman correlation coefficient. The research identified a strong integration between the Corporate Education System and the strategic objectives of ECT. The results show that there is a moderate influence between the Corporate Education offered by UNICORREIOS and the development of the professional career, especially regarding the variables development momentum and frequency of employee participation. The indicators still suggest a strong relationship between the variables, accumulation of career capital and the perception of rewards. However, it was verified that, from the employees' point of view, the relationship between their participation in the Corporate Education System and the possibility of rewards arising from this participation, even if successful, is not totally clear.
