Previous issue date: 2017-09-04 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior (CAPES) / O trabalho tem como objetivo entender o processo de apagamento da presen?a negra no Serid? a partir da an?lise comparada dos documentos hist?ricos e das mem?rias da "fam?lia Bel?m" composta por grupos dom?sticos oriundos de uma fazenda de criar que tem em seus registros um dos maiores n?mero de escravos nos meados do s?culo XVIII. Se desde do in?cio da coloniza??o, os africanos escravizados est?o presentes no Serid?, seus descendentes sofreram um processo de invisibiliza??o e estigmatiza??o al?m do esbulho de suas terras que foram ?tomadas? pelos grandes fazendeiros. A trajet?ria geneal?gica da fam?lia Bel?m, as mem?rias dos descendentes dos Moura, dos Guin? e dos Bel?m foram cruzadas com os documentos hist?ricos dispon?veis. Irei descrever como "A fam?lia Bel?m" se constituiu em torno de um apagamento volunt?rio da mancha deixada pela escravid?o. Busca-se, assim, atrav?s da perspectiva hist?rica, questionar os dados etnogr?ficos e a partir dos dados etnogr?ficos, preencher as lacunas deixadas pelos documentos hist?ricos (Wachtel, 1990). Entre outros resultados, a pesquisa revela uma grande diversidade de estatutos entre os afrodescendentes ao longo do processo hist?rico, a exist?ncia de pr?ticas cotidianas e de of?cios que remetem diretamente ao passado colonial, apesar dos poucos registros da mem?ria. Os vaqueiros, tropeiros, cozinheiras e outros personagens que exerceram of?cios especializados, testemunham, pelos seus saberes e pr?ticas cotidianas, a continuidade hist?rica das popula??es africanas escravizadas no Serid? e as estrat?gias de resist?ncia ? domina??o. / This project has the objective to understand the process the delate of the presence of black people in Serid?, starting from comparative analysis of historical documents and the memories from Bel?m?s family which is formed by domestics groups that came from a farm that has the biggest amount of slaves in XVIII century. Since of the beginning of the colonization african people are in Serid?, but their descendants have suffered a process of invisibilty, stigmatisation and the theft of their lands, that was taken by the big farmers. The genealogical trajetory of Bel?m?s family, the memories from Mouras?,Guin? and Bel?m were compared with historical documents. I going to describe how the ?Bel?m?s family? was build in a scar of slavery times. So, I will question this ethnographic datas and from that I will complete the empty spaces which exists in the documents(Wachtel, 1990). This search show a big diversity of statutes between african people in historical process, the existence of habits and jobs that bring to the past, despite the few registers of memory. The ?vaqueiros?, ?tropeiros?, women cooks and the others characters which had specialized functions participate, by the their knowledge and habits, the historical continuity of the presence of african population that was slavered in Serid?.
