The guideline objective of the study was understand the implications of trajectories of these young people on their processes of choosing by religious life. The specifics objectives were identify the trajectories of the young people investigated, understand their processes of choosing by religious life, know how they are experiencing the process of choice currently and investigate their projects of future. From qualitative perspective, the collect of information was done in two moments: the first, using a semistructured interview guide and, the second, it was used the technique of socio-professional trajectory. This tool allows people rebuild the courses of their lives contrasting the social and psychological experiences that they considered outstanding, prioritizing the means assigned by them for the situations of continuities and ruptures in their trajectories. It were investigated seven young people between 17 and 18 years old, inserted in a seminary on Santa Catarina, from this state, Paraná, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The analysis of the information occurred through core signification, which were done considering the research`s objectives and the emerging themes from subject`s speech during collect of information. Three cores were identified: revisiting the past (with two subnucleos: between home and church and choosing say yes), living the present (also with subnucleos: new life, new thoughts and stones in the way) and projecting the future. The beginning of young people`s trajectories was marked by a strong familiar attendance mediating the subject on their religious initiation, since early they already used to participate in church activities. Their choices by entering the seminary were also encouraged by the family context and social experiences related to religious space. The way they`re experiencing the process of choosing the religious life is marked by personal changes, reflections and criticism for practices and institutional principles. Furthermore, they face difficulties concerning the living together between them, missing their families, the deal with sexuality, as well as vocational crisis experiences and uncertainties. The projects mentioned oscillate between doubts about follow or not the religious life and the full conviction about being a priest. In the case of those who exposed being right in follow the Order, these one intend to work for society through projects and activities in communities, besides the interest in deepen studies in certain areas. From the research findings, it`s possible to understand that implications of trajectories of young people are the family and social experiences on religious context occurring from childhood of the them. These implications emphasize the idea that current choice processes of choice are not disarticulated of the paths they done.
