Previous issue date: 2014 / A tese investigou como os estudos feministas e de gênero latino-americanos que viajaram para a Argentina e o Brasil entre os anos de 1960 e 1999. Este trabalho procurou identificar e analisar o que foi produzido e circulou usando esses dois países como recorte. Os objetivos desta pesquisa foram visualizar as fronteiras marcadas pelos contextos geo-históricos da produção, os lugares onde os agentes do conhecimento publicaram seus textos e os mecanismos que promoveram a distribuição desses conhecimentos. Como metodologia foi utilizada a investigação no depósito legal e em quatro periódicos acadêmicos. Na Argentina duas instituições que preservam a herança nacional publicada e torna acessível às gerações presentes e futuras foram investigadas: a Biblioteca Nacional de la República Argentina e La Biblioteca del Congreso de la Nacion Argentina, ambas localizadas em Buenos Aires; e no Brasil a Biblioteca Nacional. Para esta pesquisa foram também investigados quatro periódicos acadêmicos: Feminaria e Mora na Argentina, e Cadernos Pagu e Revista Estudos Feministas no Brasil. Esses foram criados no fim da década de 1980, início de 1990, contexto em que os estudos de gênero se estabeleceram dentro das Universidades como conhecimento acadêmico na Argentina e no Brasil. Por fim, esta tese identificou os conhecimentos latino-americanos que viajaram para esses dois países, quais suas características, contextos históricos e as trajetórias dos estudos feministas e de gênero; estabelecendo um exercício epistemológico em torno desse campo de saber que identificou um maior diálogo com o conhecimento produzido em lugares como a Europa e os Estados Unidos do que países latino-americanos, com experiências históricas similares.<br> / Abstract : The thesis investigated how Latin American feminist and gender studies knowledge traveled, in Brazil and Argentina, between the years of 1960 and 1999. This work intended to identify and analyze what was produced and circulated, using these two countries as a historical cutout. The objectives of this research were to visualize the borders marked by the geo-historical contexts of production, the places where the knowledge agents published their texts, and the mechanisms that promoted the distribution of these knowledge. As methodology it used the investigation in legal deposit and four academic journals. In Argentina two institutions preserve the published national literary heritage and make them accessible to present and future generations were researched: the Biblioteca Nacional de la República Argentina, and La Biblioteca del Congreso de la Nacion Argentina, all located in Buenos Aires; and in Brazil the Biblioteca Nacional is responsible for the legal deposit. For this research was also investigates four academic journals: Feminaria and Mora in Argentina, and Cadernos Pagu and Revista Estudos Feministas in Brazil. These journals were created at the end of 1980s, beginning of the 1990s, context of gender studies were established inside the University as academic knowledge in Argentina and Brazil. At last this thesis identified what Latin American knowledge traveled to these two countries, analyzed their characteristics, the historical context, and the feminist and gender studies trajectories, establishing an epistemological exercise around that knowledge field recognizing a greater dialogue with the knowledge produced in places like Europe and the United States than Latin American countries with similar historical experiences.
