Previous issue date: 2016 / Esta tese é um esforço analítico para descrever como as usuárias contam, ou seja, como as usuárias constroem e acionam diversos gêneros narrativos nos distintos enquadres em que elas, enquanto sujeitos, deslocam-se e posicionam-se. Este trabalho ressalta o aspecto negociado e dialógico, mesmo que cheio de tensões e conflitos, dos modos a partir dos quais as usuárias retraçam continuamente as linhas entre o que se encontra no enfoque dos relatos organizados ao redor de si mesmas como sujeitos terapêuticos, e aquilo que foge ou resiste a esses enquadramentos. Nesse sentido, esta etnografia perambula entre a saturação e a sobreposição de histórias, falas, depoimentos,testemunhos, entrevistas, imagens, reportagens e histórias de vida produzidas ao redor das e pelas usuárias, sujeitos que, de acordo com esta etnografia, constituem-se nos usos diversos que elas fazem não apenas das substâncias psicoativas, mas também dos programas de atenção, da cidade e dos modos de se contar. As políticas públicas de atenção a usuários de álcool e outras drogas, constituídas e desestabilizadas pelos sujeitos envolvidos nelas, são o pano de fundo desta pesquisa, que parte de um programa de atenção orientado pelos preceitos da redução de danos no Centro Histórico de Salvador, no estado da Bahia. Esse cenário institucional, em articulação com o espaço urbano que o abriga, constitui um dispositivo bastante interligado, que tem gerado transformações objetivas e subjetivas nas vidas das pessoas que participam dele, no caso particular deste estudo, as usuárias e usuários de álcool e outras drogas que vivem nas ruas. Nesse espaço cruzado pelo turismo e pela intervenção humanitária, analiso as relações entre as usuárias e seus outros, sejam esses os membros das equipes psicossociais ou demais sujeitos com os que as usuárias estabelecem uma relação de ajuda. Nessas relações, em que a usuária se concebe como um igual e ao mesmo tempo como um sujeito excluído e vulnerável, produz-se o campo de tensão o qual esta tese habita. A partir desse território, e através da raiva, da revolta e do riso como ocasiões de desencontro, exploro o antagonismo entre as noções, experiências e projetos de viver das usuárias e seus outros.<br> / Abstract: This thesis is an analytical effort to describe how users tell, thatis, how users make use of and trigger different narrative genres within adiversity of narrative frames in which they, as subjects, move andposition themselves. This work highlights the negotiated and dialogicalaspects, full of tensions and conflicts, of the ways in which userscontinuously retrace the lines between a frame of organized narrativesaround themselves as therapeutic subjects and all that escapes or resiststhose frames. The thesis wanders between the saturation andoverlapping of stories, speeches, testimonies, interviews, images, newsarticles and life stories produced around and by the users, the subjectswhich, according to this ethnography, are constituted through thedifferent usage not only of psychoactive substances, but also of the city,its health care programs and different ways of telling. Being constitutedand destabilised by the subjects involved in them, the public healthpolicies for users of alcohol and other drugs are the background of thisethnography, which takes as starting point a harm reduction program inthe Historical Center of Salvador, in the state of Bahia. This institutionalsetting, along with the urban space that hosts it, constitutes a quiteinterconnected device which has generated objective and subjectivetransformations in the lives of the people who take part in it, in thisparticular case, users of alcohol and other drugs that inhabit thosestreets. In this space, which is intersected by tourism and humanitarianintervention, I explore the relationship between users and their others,whether they be members of the psychosocial teams or other subjectswith whom users establish a relationship of assistance. This workinhabits a field of tensions which are produced in these relationships,wherein the user is conceived as an equal and at the same time as anexcluded and vulnerable subject. From this territory, and through anger,revolt and laughter conceived as occasions of divergence, I set out toexplore the antagonism between concepts, experiences, and life projectsof users and their others.
