Neste contexto, o objetivo geral deste trabalho foi analisar a percepção dos alunos do Curso Técnico em Agropecuária do Colégio Agrícola de Araquari/SC com relação aos fatores meteorológicos e suas influências sobre o comportamento dos processos fisiológicos das plantas, usando aulas práticas. Para estas propostas, foi aplicado um questionário sobre a importância dos estudos climáticos e foram realizados três experimentos em grupos de alunos para evidenciar, principalmente, os efeitos da luz, da temperatura e da concentração de dióxido de carbono na fotossíntese e os efeitos da luz na transpiração das plantas e no processo de ascensão de água nas plantas. Estes experimentos são de baixíssimo custo e de fácil instalação. Os grupos de alunos analisaram os resultados dos seus experimentos e apresentaram suas conclusões para toda a turma. A grande maioria dos alunos destacou a importância dos estudos climáticos nas salas de aula e da estação meteorológica da escola, para as suas atividades práticas diárias e consequentemente para a sua formação profissional. Nos três experimentos, os alunos tiveram a oportunidade de analisar os resultados, usando os conhecimentos adquiridos nas aulas de Climatologia Básica e Morfologia e Fisiologia Vegetal. Os alunos apresentaram elevada motivação na condução, análise e apresentação dos experimentos. O aprendizado também foi elevado, muito embora se tenha observado que é necessário um maior estudo teórico para que os alunos possam corrigir algumas explicações apresentadas para os resultados experimentais. Os professores e alunos relataram a necessidade de repetir os experimentos e de ter mais tempo para analisá-los permitindo conclusões mais precisas. Os experimentos com as plantas foram oportunidades de vivenciar o método científico que não é comum nas escolas. Desta forma, este trabalho confirma o potencial de experimentos simples na educação básica para difundir a atitude científica e estimular o aprendizado em jovens estudantes.
Nowadays, the concerning about climatic and meteorological issues is high, since these affect directly our way of life and the decisions we have to take in the professional and domestic activities. In this context, the aim of this work was to analyze the perception from students of Curso Técnico em Agropecuária of Colégio Agrícola de Araquari/SC with respect to meteorological factors and their influences on the behavior of physiological process, using practical lessons. For these purposes, it was applied a questionnaire about the climatic studies, and three experiments were performed to evidence, mainly, the effect of light, temperature and carbon dioxide concentration on photosynthesis, and the effects of light on plant transpiration and on the process of plant water ascending. These experiments have very low cost and are easy to install. The groups of students analyzed their experimental data and showed their conclusions to the whole class. The majority of the students highlighted the importance that the climatic studies, in the class and in the meteorological station of the school, for their dairy activities and, consequently for their professional development. In the three experiments, the students had the opportunity of analyzing the results, using the knowledge learned in the classes of Climatology and Morphology and Plant Physiology. The students exhibited high motivation in carrying, analyzing and showing the experiments. The learning was also high, even though it was observed that it is necessary more theoretical study allowing that the students can correct some interpretations presented for experimental results. The teachers and the students related the need of repeating the experiments and to have more time to analyze them allowing more accurate conclusions. The experiments with plants were opportunities of living the scientific method, which is not common in fundamental school. Therefore, this work confirms the potential of simple experiments in the basic school to diffuse the scientific behavior and stimulate the learning for young students.
