Previous issue date: 2014-02-17 / Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais / The objective of this work is to study the braid groups on topological surfaces as well as studying a generalization of the Fadell-Neuwirth short exact sequence. We treated also the existence of a cross-section for the Fadell-Neuwirth s generalized fibration, in particular, we are concerned in the case when the surface is equal the sphere S2. / O objetivo deste trabalho é estudar os grupos de tranças de uma superfície topológica e a generalização da sequência exata curta de Fadell-Neuwirth. Tratamos também da existência de uma secção geométrica e algébrica para a fibração de Fadell-Neuwirth generalizada, em particular, consideraremos o caso em que a superfície é a esfera S2.
