Previous issue date: 2014-10-30 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) / Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) / As an outcome of the ethnography carried through among the Tenharim - a kagwahiva group from the Madeira river basin in Southern Amazon Rainforest - this dissertation's major point is the Mboatawa, a feast that takes place annually between June and August, and the ritual transformations. This work is, hence, an ethnography of the ritual metamorphosis triggered by two distinct aerophones called Yreru and Yrua, as well as the singing of the elders. Through these expressive elements present in the Mboatawa and the approach to the tenharim landscape, I develop an assay of the temporality emerged from the alterations provoked by the feast and the inherent transformation in their topography. However, the Mboatawa is not restrict to the expressive forms, but also to other domains, such as the chieftainship and Mutum (Myty-Nygwera) and the system of moieties Taravé (Kwandu). / Resultado da etnografia realizada entre os Tenharim, grupo kagwahiva da bacia do rio Madeira, sul do Amazonas, a presente dissertação tem como foco o Mboatawa, festa que ocorre anualmente entre os meses de Junho e Agosto, e as transformações por ela suscitadas. Este trabalho é, neste sentido, uma etnografia da transformação ritual que passa pelo acionamento de dois distintos aerofones, a Yreru e a Yrua, e também pelo canto dos velhos. A partir desses elementos expressivos presentes no Mboatawa e também do acesso à paisagem tenharim, desenvolvo uma análise da temporalidade que emerge da metamorfose na festa e da transformação inscrita na topografia desse grupo. No entanto o Mboatawa não está restrito às formas expressivas, outros domínios o atravessam, entre eles a chefia e a relação entre as metades Mutum (Myty-Nygwera) e Taravé (Kwandu).
