2011_AndréLúcioBento_Parcial.pdf: 186328 bytes, checksum: bfffd27141cfea8da75a045a37228f4f (MD5) / Com a convicção de que a linguagem humana gera sentidos em contextos sociais, de que ela é um sistema sociossemiótico que nos capacita a representar o mundo e a interagir por meio de textos e de que ela é um dos elementos da escala social que afeta e é afetado por fatores de ordem ideológica, simbólica, política, institucional, entre outros, esta tese tem o objetivo de
interpretar como os textos, realizados em gêneros, organizam e constroem o momento
discursivo dos eventos sociais. Outra convicção teórica que norteia este trabalho, de cunho qualitativo, é a de que o discurso compreende modos de representação, constitui as estruturas, as práticas e os eventos sociais, além de construir identidades e relações de poder, legitimando-as
ou transformando-as. As conclusões desta tese apontam para o fato de que o momento
discursivo dos eventos sociais pode ser cingido, para fins unicamente analíticos e didáticos, em uma dimensão mais retórica, a matriz genérica, e em uma dimensão mais ideológica, a matriz discursiva. A primeira corresponde à estruturação funcional predominante nos eventos, fazendo
com que eles atuem na sociedade nos planos retóricos do argumentar, do narrar, no injungir, do expor/explicar, do predizer ou do dialogar. A segunda, a matriz discursiva, corresponde ao conjunto das configurações ideológicas e simbólicas que se constrói a cada evento que se realiza na sociedade. A junção indissociável dessas duas matrizes constitui a “voz” dos eventos sociais,
uma construção que se dá pela ação que os textos, realizados em gêneros, possibilitam no nível dos eventos. Os principais aportes teóricos em que se baseia esta tese provêm da Análise de Discurso Crítica (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001, 2003 e 2006; CHOULIARAKI & FAIRCLOUGH,
1999), da Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional (HALLIDAY, 1994; HALLIDAY & MATTHIESSEN, 2004; Eggins, 2002 e 2010) e da Teoria da Multimodalidade (KRESS & van LEEUWEN, 2006; KRESS, 2010; JEWITT & KRESS, 2008). Para as considerações em torno da conceituação dos gêneros (textuais), seu papel na organização social e sua estrutura de composição, as contribuições residem nas proposições de Bakhtin (2010), Adam (2008), Bronckart (1999), Fairclough (2001 e 2003), Miller (1994), Jordan (1997), Marcuschi (2005 e
2008), Trimble (1985) e Swales (1990). ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / With the conviction that human language creates meanings in social contexts, that it is a sociosemiotic system which enables us to represent the world and interact via texts and that it is one of the elements of the social scale which affects and is affected by factors of ideological,
symbolic, political and institutional order, among others, this thesis aims to interpret how texts, realized in different genres, organize and build the discursive moment of social events. Another theoretical conviction that guides this work, of qualitative character, is that that discourse
includes modes of representation, constitutes the structures, practices and social events, and builds identities and power relations, legitimizing or transforming them. The conclusions of this
thesis point to the fact that the discursive moment of social events can be encompassed, solely for analytical and educational purposes, by a more rhetorical dimension, the genre matrix, and by a more ideological dimension, the discursive matrix. The first corresponds to the functional structure predominant in events, causing them to act in society in the rhetorical planes of
argumentation, narration, injunction, exposition/explanation, prediction or dialogue. The second, the discursive matrix, corresponds to the set of ideological and symbolic configurations which are constructed on each event that takes place in society. The indissoluble junction of
these two matrixes constitutes the "voice" of social events, a construction which occurs by the action that texts, realized in different genres, make possible in terms of events. The main theoretical framework on which this thesis is based comes from the Critical Discourse Analysis (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001, 2003 and 2006; CHOULIARAKI & FAIRCLOUGH, 1999), the Systemic-Functional Linguistics (HALLIDAY, 1994, HALLIDAY & MATTHIESSEN, 2004; EGGINS , 2002 and 2010) and the Theory of Multimodality (KRESS & van LEEUWEN, 2006; KRESS, 2010, JEWITT & KRESS, 2008).For the considerations about the concept of (textual) genres, their role in social organization and the structure of their composition, contributions lie
in the propositions of Bakhtin (2010), Adam (2008), Bronckart (1999), Fairclough (2001 and 2003 ), Miller (1994), Jordan (1997), Marcuschi (2005 and 2008), Trimble (1985) and Swales (1990).
