Este modelo tradicional se consolida pela figura que domina em sua relação com a mulher, estabelecendo desigualdade entre os gêneros. O masculino investigado aqui recusa representação que assinale para o domínio por meio da exposição do próprio corpo. As linguagens artísticas tornam visível um corpo que tende a transformar-se. Performances, pinturas e fotografias das últimas três décadas do século XX e dos primeiros anos do Século XXI retratam este masculino. São analisados aqui os teóricos que e, principalmente, contribuíram para atravessar barreiras impostas pelo homem tradicional no intuito manter a estrutura que perpetua o domínio. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This thesis studies imagistic representations of masculine who do not fit the traditional model of man. This traditional model is consolidated by the figure that dominates the relationship with woman, establishing gender inequality. The masculine investigated here represents refusal to the domain status through the exposing own body. The artistic languages make visible a body which tends to transform. Performances, paintings and photographs of the last three decades of the twentieth century and the early years of Century XXI present this masculine. We analyze theorists which mainly contributed to cross traditional barriers imposed by man in order to maintain the structure which perpetuates the domain.
