Para responder à pergunta, a tese perscruta os meios de colonização da vida e as maquinarias de (re)produção de subjetividade, os marcos de inteligibilidade como meios de (re)cognoscibilidade, a mídia como meio de projeção e fixação, vulto e serialização, normalização, trivialização e feitura-de-mundo. Postula o gênero como máquina mimética de modelização, matriz replicável de poder que funda a dis-paridade, ao refundar a história patriarcal na história da cena fundacional familiar, cujo formato se replica nas fábricas de produção de subjetividade, sobretudo na mídia, onde ganha vulto. A mímesis é uma ―rua de mão dupla‖, tanto uma faculdade quanto uma história, que estabiliza a linguagem da disparidade, distribuindo o status (nos termos de Segato, 2003), em um formato inteligível, reconhecível, ―habitual‖. Proliferam estudos sobre a mimese no caso da divulgação de suicídios na mídia – o chamado efeito ―copycat‖ ou ―Werther‖, em alusão à onda de suicídios no século XVIII de jovens mimetizados com o protagonista de Goethe. Mas será que apenas o suicídio leva ao mimetismo? Um paralelo ao ―efeito Werther‖ é o caso argentino do assassinato de Wanda Taddei e a onda de feminicídios subsequentes. Tomando o caso como paradigmático do efeito mimético da violência, a tese pretende entender como a lógica patriarcal, em sua feição expressiva, está no cerne da modelização que afiança a ordem colonial-moderna-estatal que, organizada sob a égide do pódio, do espetáculo, do status, da autoridade, ganha massa. A violência ―pega‖, mas não é inevitável. Uma (bio)ética do desapego aponta meios de reexistência. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Can one catch violence? To answer the question, this thesis explores the means by which life is colonized; the machineries of (re)production of subjectivity; the frames of intelligibility as means of (re)cognoscibility, the media as means of spreading and broadening, mass making and serializing, normalizing, trivializing and world-making. It explains gender as a mimetic modeling machine, a grid that replicates a power model, which establishes dis-parity, while reestablishing patriarchal history in the history of a familiar foundational scene. This format replicates in factories of subjectivity production, especially in the media, where this ―format‖ gains ―mass‖. Mimesis is a two-way drive, both a faculty and a history, which stabilizes disparity as a language, distributing status (as in Segato, 2003), in an intelligible, recognizable, ―habitual‖ format. There are just so many studies on the mimetic effect on suicides in the media – the so called ―copycat‖ or ―Werther effect‖, in reference to the suicide clusters in the 18th century in mimicry with Goethe‘s protagonist. But are only suicide cases in the media subject to the mimetic effect? A counterpart to the Werther effect is the argentine case of the murder of Wanda Taddei and the feminicide cluster it seemed to trigger. Taking this example as paradigmatic of the mimetic effect of violence, this thesis sets out to understand how patriarchal logic, in its expressive features, is in the center of the modeling that warrants the modern-colonial-state order, which organized under the aegis of the podium, of the spectacle, of status, of authority, renders a massive body. Violence does ―catch‖, but not inevitably. A bioethics of detachment indicates means for re-existing.
