Previous issue date: 2007 / A presente dissertação é resultado da pesquisa sobre a inserção do Programa Nacional de Informática na Educação (ProInfo) no município de Goiânia, estado de Goiás, Brasil. O foco central da pesquisa é a relação professor/informática, a partir das políticas de formação de professores no contexto das tecnologias da informação e da comunicação, desenvolvidas pelo ProInfo. Seu objeto de pesquisa é a formação docente realizada pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SME) através do estudo dos cursos oferecidos pelo Núcleo de Tecnologia Educacional (NTE) municipal. Utilizaram-se os seguintes procedimentos metodológicos: entrevistas, questionários e análise de documentos. A partir dos resultados da pesquisa podemos afirmar que a inserção do ProInfo no município está aquém do esperado por fatores políticos, profissionais e pedagógicos. Como conclusão, a pesquisa assinala que a introdução da informática na educação ainda precisa avançar, principalmente no aspecto da crítica, pois o lugar do professor na prática escolar é fomentar essa passagem no aluno. Assim, o computador pode servir para duas propostas. Ou adere à lógica instrumentalizada do conhecimento, típico da pedagogia tradicional e que hoje é traduzida sob o imperativo da pedagogia tecnicista tornando os professores técnicos executores de pacotes de instruções , ou amplia a concepção de ensino, a partir de uma visão histórico-social, crítica e emancipatória em que o professor provoca no aluno a procura pelo aprendizado lhe transmitindo conhecimento, transformando o aluno de sujeito empírico em sujeito concreto. _______________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The present dissertation is result of the research about the insertion of the National Program o iformatics in Education (ProInfo) in the city of Goiânia, state of Goiás, Brazil. The central focu of the research is the relation professor/informatics, from the professors formation politics in th context of the technologies of information and of communication, developed by ProInfo. It object of research is the educational formation carried out by the Secretaria Municipal d Educação (SME) through the study of the courses offered by the Núcleo de Tecnologi Educacional (NTE). Were utilized the following methodological procedures: interviews questionnaires and analysis of documents. From the results of the research we are able to affir that the insertion of the ProInfo in the city is under the expected by pedagogical, professiona and political factors. As conclusion, the research designates that the introduction of th informatics in education still needs to advance, mainly in the aspect of the critical, because th place of the professor in the practical school is to foment this passage in the student. Thus, th computer can serve for two proposals. Or it adheres to the instrumental logic of the knowledge typical of the traditional education and that today is translated under the imperative of educatio tecnicista becoming the professors "technical instructions packages executors", or extensive th conception of education, from a critical, historical-social vision of emancipation in wich th professor provokes in the student the seeks for the learning, transmitting him knowledge transforming the student from empírical subject to concrete subject.
