Previous issue date: 2007-06 / Atenção difusa e atenção concentrada são construtos bastante investigados em psicologia educacional, do trânsito, clínica e organizacional. Neste trabalho objetivou-se construir e investigar a validade de construto de testes que mensurassem esses traços latentes. Os estudos contaram com diferentes participantes, sendo, no total, cerca de nove grupos. Nos estudos de construção, os instrumentos passaram por análise semântica, de juízes e estudos-piloto. Para os estudos de investigação da validade, foram feitas correlações dos testes construídos com outros que mensuravam o mesmo traço latente: Teste de Atenção Difusa para Motoristas_2 (TADIM_2) e de Atenção Concentrada (AC). Após análises, os dois novos testes de atenção difusa mostraram boa correlação entre si, mas não com o TADIM_2. Porém, a análise fatorial confirmatória mostrou que aqueles representam melhor a atenção difusa que este. Por outro lado, os dois novos testes de atenção concentrada mostraram alta correlação com o AC, confirmando sua validade de construto. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Diffuse and concentrated attention are the most investigated types of attention in educational, traffic, clinic and organizational psychology. The present study aimed at the construction and investigation of the construct validity of four attention tests. Several samples of subjects were used in different phases of the study. In the construction phase, these tests were subjected to a semantical analysis, judges’ analysis and pilot-study. The construct validity of the new tests was investigated by means of correlation with a test measuring the same construct. Results showed that the two new tests of diffuse attention have good correlation between themselves, but revealed that the correlation with the TADIM_2 (Test of diffuse attention for drivers) is poor. However, the confirmatory factorial analysis showed that the new tests represent the
diffuse attention better than TADIM_2. On the other hand, the two constructed tests of
concentrated attention showed high correlation with the AC (concentrated attention), confirming its construct validity.
