Previous issue date: 2009-02-13 / Trata-se de uma pesquisa psicanalítica referente a um caso clínico em UTI neonatal. Inicialmente, teço considerações sobre o caso clínico para maior compreensão do leitor. Posteriormente, abordo o método psicanalítico, de modo a enfatizar a especificidade de um fazer clínico na relação transferencial estabelecida a três (clínico, mãe e bebê). Em seguida, investigo o saber materno por meio dos conceitos "preocupação materna primária", "mãe devotada comum" e "mãe suficientemente boa". Desenvolvo os conceitos handling e holding maternos e amplio conceitos holding e placement, vinculados ao manejo na situação clínica. Nesses três momentos, o material clínico é analisado e exposto como ilustração. Posteriormente, investigo a identificação projetiva como um tipo fundamental de identificação que estabelece o saber materno. ________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This work deals with a psychoanalytical research project regarding a clinical case in a neonatal ICU. First, I present the facts about the clinical case for a better understanding by the reader. Afterwards, I approach the psychoanalytic method so as to emphasize the specificity of a clinical work in the transferential relationship established among the three (clinic, mother, and baby). Next, I investigate maternal knowing through the concepts of ‘primary maternal concern’, ‘the devoted mother’, and ‘the sufficiently good mother’. I develop the maternal holding and handling concepts and expand upon the holding and placement concepts linked to handling the clinical situation. In these three instances, the clinical material is analyzed and shown as an illustration. Finally, I investigate projective identification as a fundamental type of identification that establishes maternal knowing.
