Previous issue date: 2009-07 / Neste trabalho, obtemos uma solução exata para a métrica exterior de uma corda cósmica local, neutra e retilínea, numa teoria alternativa da gravitação, a teoria NDL. A propriedade fundamental dessa teoria, e que a distingue da relatividade geral, é resumida na hipótese de que a interação gravidade-gravidade não ocorre do mesmo modo que a interação matéria-gravidade. A teoria NDL viola, portanto, o princípio da equivalência forte. A solução é dada por uma família de parâmetros que pode ser interpretada como se a métrica adquirisse termos do tipo corrente, surgidos por causa da não-linearidade da teoria. _________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / In this work, we derive an exact solution for the exterior metric of a local cosmic string, neutral and rectilinear, in an alternative gravitation theory, the XDL theory. The fundamental property of that theory, which differentiates it from the general relativity theory, is summed up in the hypothesis that the gravity-gravity interaction does not occur the same way the matter-gravity interaction does. Therefore the NDL theory violates the strong equivalence principle. The solution is given by a family of parameters that may be interpreted as if the metric were in current-like terms, which come from the theory's nonlinearity.
