2010_ AntonioHenriquePereiradosSantos.pdf: 1267235 bytes, checksum: c40b27e2766924b931d812e0b560f183 (MD5) / Este trabalho trata da importância do Fundo Constitucional de Financiamento do Centro-Oeste – FCO e da sua contribuição no agronegócio do Estado de Goiás. A hipótese levantada na pesquisa foi a de que o agronegócio recebe maior atenção na concessão de crédito do que em razão da vocação agrícola do estado. O estudo, além de avaliar os dados relativos ao agronegócio, mensurou a aplicação dos recursos do FCO nas demais atividades econômicas contempladas pelo Fundo. A pesquisa baseou-se em dados secundários coletados no Banco do Brasil, no Ministério da Integração Nacional, a nível de Município, e consolidados para Microrregiões e para Mesorregiões do Estado de Goiás. A partir dos dados encontrados foi possível identificar as Microrregiões e Mesorregiões com maior nível de desenvolvimento e aquelas que receberam maior quantidade de recursos do Fundo. Foram utilizados métodos de estatística descritiva, testes de média e cálculo das taxas de crescimento ( regressão log-linear contra o tempo), com base nos valores aplicados pelo Fundo e nos números do PIB de cada Mesorregião estudada. As conclusões obtidas foram fundamentadas com base nos dados das 5 (cinco) Mesorregiões de Goiás. Com a análise dos dados foi possível comprovar que a maior parte dos recursos do Fundo foi direcionada ao financiamento do agronegócio, embora não tenha sido possível estabelecer uma relação direta entre as taxas de crescimento na aplicação dos recursos e as taxas de crescimento do PIB, percebe-se que, em momento de queda nas taxas de crescimento do PIB, houve aumento na taxa de aplicação dos recursos do FCO, atuando como dispositivo que reduz os impactos negativos da queda da atividade econômica no setor. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This work deals with the importance of the Constitutional Finance Fund of the Mid- West – FCO and its contribution to agribusiness in the state of Goiás. The research hypothesis is that agribusiness receives greater attention in the concession of credit due to the farming image of the state. Apart from evaluating the data relevant to agribusiness, the study also measures the application of resources to the other economic activities that make up the FCO. The research was developed through secondary data collected from Banco do Brasil and the Ministry of National Integration at the municipal level and later consolidated in the micro and mid level regions of the state of Goiás. Based on this data, it was possible to identify the micro and mid level regions with the greatest level of development and those that received a larger part of resources from the Fund. Descriptive statistical methods, mean tests and growth rate calculations (log-linear regression against time) were used based on the amounts used by the Fund and the GDP figures for each of the mid level regions being researched. The conclusions reached were supported based on the data from the 5 (five) Mid level regions of Goiás. Analyzing the data, it was possible to prove that the largest portion of the resources of the Fund was destined toward the financing of agribusiness, but it was not possible to establish a direct relationship between the growth rates in the application of the resources and the GDP growth rate. It was noted that during a fall in the GDP growth rate, there was a rise in the rate of application of resources by the FCO, serving as a mechanism for reducing the negative impacts that occurred in the sector.
