2008_MariaMeireCarvalho.pdf: 3702065 bytes, checksum: 6b026e9895c3731536cde907a51c63e3 (MD5) / Na presente tese, enfoco, como objeto de estudo, as representações das vivandeiras, construtos veiculados em diferentes discursos sobre a presença e a ação das mulheres nos palcos da guerra. Procurei analisar a cena discursiva das imagens de vivandeiras, elaboradas no passado e no presente. Tais imagens revelam suas condições de produção, o modo como foram discursivamente produzidas, reconhecidas e significadas. Num esforço de desnaturalização, estive particularmente atenta aos indícios que me possibilitaram questionar o que se apresentava como dado natural e acessar outras formas de atuação e significação históricas das mulheres nos campos de combate. Procurei sentidos que fugissem dos esquemas prévios e sexistas, instituidores de uma essência feminina/masculina, de um domínio fundado na determinação biológica. Procurei, portanto, escrever uma história do ponto de vista feminino, uma história produzida com outras visões/leituras do mundo social, desatreladas da perspectiva sexista naturalizada como padrão e presente na produção do conhecimento histórico. Tal história evidencia a ação das mulheres na Guerra do Paraguai (1865-70) e na Coluna Prestes (1925-27) para além do modelo de representação da vivandeira francesa, incorporada no imaginário social e da corporação militar com sentidos negativos, pejorativos e diferenciadores. Enfim, escrevi uma história de mulheres na guerra que prioriza os estudos por outras lentes de leitura: a feminista e a de gênero. Apoiei-me também no quadro nocional das representações sociais, do imaginário e memória social e do pensamento da diferença para tornar visíveis e dizíveis as experiências constituídas e constituidoras pelas/das vivandeiras, mulheres que viveram verdadeiramente a vida. ________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / In the present thesis, I have focused as the object of study the representations of the vivandières, construes propagated in different speeches on the presence and the action of the women in the stages of the war. I have searched to analyze the discursive scene of the images of vivandières elaborated in the past and the present. Such images disclose its conditions of production, the way that discursively they had been produced, recognized and meant. In a denaturalization effort I have been particularly aware of the evidences that have enabled the questionings of what had been presented as a natural basis and access other forms of actuation and historical significance of the women in the fields of battle. I have searched out orientations that left behind previous and sexist schemes, establishers of the feminine/masculine essence, of a domain founded in the biological determination. I have sought, however, to write a story from a feminine point of view, a story produced with other visions/interpretations of the social world, detached from the sexist perspective naturalized as a pattern and present in the production of the historical knowledge. Such story evidences the action of the women in the War of Paraguay (1865-70) and in the Coluna Prestes (1925-27) going beyond the model of representation of the French vivandière incorporated in the social imaginary and in the military corporation with negative and pejorative senses as well as with differentiations. At last, I wrote a story of women in the war that prioritizes the studies from other lenses of interpretation: the feminist and the gender. I also supported myself in the notional picture of the social representations, imaginary and the social memory and the thought of the difference to make visible and utterable the experiences constituted and constituting by/for the vivandières, women who had lived life truly.
