Os pressupostos teórico-metodológicos que embasaram este estudo advém das articulações estabelecidas entre fundamentos da fonoaudiologia, da psicanálise lacaniana e winnicottiana e da linguística. Os objetivos do trabalho são: 1) refletir a clínica fonoaudiológica de crianças autistas a partir do olhar psicanalítico; 2) investigar e discutir as formas de abordagem e de intervenção clínica fonoaudiológica de crianças autistas; e 3) explorar a importância dos conceitos winnicottianos de placement e holding nas intervenções fonoaudiológicas, contemplando a clínica interdisciplinar. A dissertação abrange a área da linguística e evidencia o encontro da psicanálise com a fonoaudiologia, traçando o caminho realizado para o estudo do surgimento da linguagem da criança. Ao final da dissertação apresentamos vinhetas clínicas do atendimento fonoaudiológico de duas crianças com sintomas autísticos. A partir da análise dessas vinhetas, procuramos demonstrar a importância do profissional estar sintonizado com a criança, com a família e também com a equipe clínica. Nesta perspectiva, é possível acolher a criança e humanizar o ambiente, favorecendo as aquisições da comunicação. Por fim, buscamos demonstrar a importância da relação terapêutica fonoaudiológica para a criança autista, auxiliando em seu desenvolvimento da comunicação em seu meio social. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This dissertation is focused on the theoretical and clinical analysis of speech therapy treatment for autistic children. The theoretical and methodological assumptions on which this study is based come from the connection between principles of Speech Therapy, Lacanian and Winnicottian Psychoanalysis and Linguistics. This study aims at: 1) reflecting upon the speech therapy practice for autistic children from a psychoanalytic point of view; 2) examining and discussing the approaches and clinical intervention on autistic children in the field of Speech Therapy; and 3) considering the importance of Winnicott’s concepts of placement and holding to therapeutic interventions, including the interdisciplinary clinical practice. This dissertation embraces the linguistic field and points out the connections between Psychoanalysis and Speech Therapy, describing how language development in children has been studied. Finally, the clinical vignettes of the speech treatment of two children with autistic symptoms are presented. Based on the analysis of these vignettes, the study intends to show how important it is that the speech therapist be closely bound to the child, the family and the whole clinical staff. On this perspective, it is possible to protect the child and humanize the environment, fostering language acquisition. To conclude, it shows how important the speech treatment for autistic children is, helping them establish communication in their social environment.
