2011_DanielCantanhedeBehmoiras.pdf: 871071 bytes, checksum: 0064e00f9183b7a06c325d8e4bc5c042 (MD5) / O presente trabalho buscou compreender como se configuram as atividades pedagógicas da Educação Física no contexto escolar, levando-se em consideração as influências da mídia esportiva nesse processo, em especial a TV. Nesse sentido, buscou-se compreender as relações entre a Educação Física escolar, o esporte e a mídia, tomando-se como referência principal estudantes do 3º ano do ensino médio de duas escolas públicas do Distrito Federal. Como método, adotou-se a pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando como técnicas para a coleta de dados o formulário, a entrevista, o grupo focal, a análise documental e a produção de vídeo. Constatou-se que os discentes têm contato significativo com a mídia esportiva, a qual assume um papel destacado em seu processo de formação, em especial no que diz respeito à interpretação e à prática do fenômeno esportivo. Sentem-se instigados ao consumo de materiais esportivos e se espelham em jogadores profissionais. As aulas de Educação Física configuram-se como um espaço seguro e fundamental para o aprendizado relativo ao universo da Cultura Corporal para grande parte dos estudantes pesquisados, principalmente para o público feminino. Concluiu-se também que o esporte é trabalhado de forma hegemônica nas aulas de Educação Física, na qual são reproduzidas relações de exclusão, destacando-se discriminações de gênero. Por fim, a produção de um vídeo foi de grande valia, pois tornou possível um contato crítico dos estudantes com a linguagem audiovisual. Dessa forma, pretende-se com os subsídios apresentados nessa dissertação contribuir para uma maior qualificação da Educação Física escolar. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This study sought to understand how to shape the educational activities of Physical Education in the school context, taking into account the influence of sports media, especially TV. Accordingly, we also aimed at understanding the relationship between school physical education, sport and media, using as main reference 3rd year students from two public high schools in Distrito Federal. As a methodology, we have adopted the qualitative research, using the following techniques for data collection: forms, interviews, focus groups, document analysis and video production. It was found that the students have significant contact with the sports media, and that it plays a prominent role in their education, especially regarding the interpretation and practice of sport phenomenon. The students are instigated towards the consumption of sporting goods and look up to professional players as examples for life. The Physical Education classes are configured as a safe space and essential for learning on the world of physical culture for most of the students surveyed, particularly for the female audience. It was also concluded that the sport is the main activity in physical education classes, and that the exclusion relations are reproduced within this context, especially gender discrimination. Finally, the production of a video was very helpful, since it has allowed the students to develop a critical understanding of the audiovisual language. Thus, it is expected that the contributions made in this work will enable higher qualification in Physical Education.
