Desta maneira, o presente estudo de natureza analítico-descritivo, objetivou analisar o Projeto Pedagógico do curso de Pedagogia da Unesp-Faculdade de Ciências e Letras, do Campus de Araraquara quanto à inserção das temáticas de sexualidade e orientação sexual, a partir da análise dos programas e matriz curriculares e dos saberes expressos pelos alunos. Em relação à metodologia, ela consiste de uma pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa, sendo que participaram da mesma 70 alunos do 4.º ano do curso. Foi realizada a análise dos programas e das disciplinas do citado curso de Pedagogia, por meio da técnica análise documental. A seguir aplicou-se um questionário com os alunos do curso de Pedagogia, contendo 20 questões fechadas. A análise dos resultados permite afirmar que de modo geral não há na grade curricular do curso menção à sexualidade e orientação sexual, sendo que no histórico do curso houve apenas a oferta de disciplinas optativas que abarcavam estes temas, as quais não foram mais ofertadas. Outrossim, que o currículo oficial deste curso não dá margem para discussão da sexualidade, embora no currículo oculto há a possibilidade de abordar a sexualidade. Em função da natureza deste currículo pode-se afirmar que o espaço existente para esta discussão é velado e subaproveitado. Dessa forma, o ideal seria que a sexualidade pudesse fazer parte da grade curricular, porquanto embora apresente espaço no currículo oculto, não significa que terá oportunidade de ser abrangida em sala de aula. Constatou-se também que falta a muitos dos participantes o conhecimento dos diversos temas que compõem a sexualidade humana, dando indícios de que provavelmente... / The pedagogy must redeem the responsibility of the teacher in working with sexuality, since sexual orientation is a basic issue of citizenship. Thus, this study of an analytical-descriptive, aimed to analyze the Project Pedagógico Course Pedagogy of Unesp-Faculty of Sciences and Letters of Araraquara Campus on the inclusion of themes of sexuality and sexual orientation from the analysis of programs and curriculum matrix and the knowledge expressed by the students. Regarding methodology, it is a qualitative and quantitative research, which involved the same 70 students of 4th grade of that course. It was initially established contact with the director of that Faculty to request its completion within the Campus and the authorization for it to be possible to analyze the programs and matrices of the course curriculum, and to apply the questionnaire to the students. Then, we performed the analysis of programs and disciplines of that course of education, through technical document analysis. Then a questionnaire was applied to the students of the course of education, with 20 closed questions. The analysis of results suggests that in general there is in the curriculum of the course reference to sexuality and sexual guidance, and the history of the course was only to offer elective courses that cover these topics, which were no longer offered. Also, the official curriculum of this course does not give room for discussion of sexuality, while the hidden curriculum open this possibility. In view of the nature of this curriculum can be stated that the existing space for this discussion is veiled, and underused. Thus, the ideal would be that sexuality could be part of the actual grade curriculum of that course, but has since hidden space in the curriculum does not mean that you will be covered in the classroom.
