000803834.pdf: 1279718 bytes, checksum: bf1d30d070b4d5edb99e257f79a99644 (MD5) / Este estudo teve como objetivo propor melhorias para o manejo de resíduos sólidos no município de Guaratinguetá, seguindo as diretrizes da Lei Federal nº 11.455/07, e da Lei Federal nº 12.305/10, que estabeleceram as normativas do saneamento brasileiro, bem como, avaliar a viabilidade econômica da coleta seletiva e da compostagem dos resíduos sólidos deste município. Os principais estudos e parâmetros utilizados para a elaboração deste trabalho foram os diagnósticos dos serviços prestados e a forma de sua execução, a tipificação dos resíduos recicláveis segundo o método da Curva ABC e o planejamento das atividades de melhoria da eficiência dos serviços de limpeza pública já existentes. Este trabalho foi desenvolvido em parceira com o Departamento de Engenharia Civil da FEG/UNESP e contou com a colaboração da Prefeitura Municipal de Guaratinguetá. Este estudo poderá ser utilizado pelo município para integração no plano de bacias hidrográficas, para subsídios a Leis, Decretos, Portarias e Normas relativas aos serviços de coleta, tratamento e disposição final de resíduos. Este estudo gerou conhecimentos sobre a situação atual da gestão de resíduos sólidos urbanos no município de Guaratinguetá, por meio do diagnóstico situacional e da avaliação das oportunidades e melhoria. A aplicação do método da curva ABC possibilitou verificar que a central de triagem deve priorizar a venda de papelão e alumínio, que são materiais que possuem classificação A. Verificou-se que para atender a política nacional de resíduos sólidos o município precisa adotar a prática da compostagem, que além da viabilidade econômica é vantajosa por agregar valor aos resíduos, gerar novos empregos e, principalmente, por aumentar a vida útil dos aterros e melhorar as condições ambientais. Outra medida necessária é a execução de um projeto de encerramento e remediação da área do antigo lixo municipal / This study aimed to propose improvements to the management of solid waste in the municipality of Guaratinguetá, following the guidelines of the Federal Law n. 11.455/07, and the Federal Law n. 12.305/10, which establish normative Brazilian sanitation, as well as to assess the economic feasibility of selective collection and composting of solid wate en this country. The main studies and parameters used in the preparation of this paper, the diagnoses of services and the manner of its execution, typing of recyclable waste according to the method of curve ABC and the planning of activities to improve the efficiency of public cleaning services existing. This work was developed in partnership with the Department of Civil Engineering FEG/UNESP and with the collaboration of the Municipality of Guaratinguetá. This study may be used by the municipality for integration into the watershed plan, to grant the Laws, Decrees, Ordinances and Rules for collection, treatment and disposal of waste.
