O procedimento sequência didática (DOLZ; NOVERRAZ; SCHNEUWLY, 2004), elaborado no âmbito da Didática de Línguas de Genebra, vem sendo cada vez mais reconhecido e utilizado no Brasil como um instrumento para o trabalho sistematizado com os gêneros, de modo a se promover o desenvolvimento das capacidades de linguagem a eles relacionadas. Neste trabalho, realizamos a análise de duas sequências didáticas (SDs), pertencentes ao material de ensino de LP produzido e distribuído pela rede escolar SESI-SP aos alunos do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental, e dos seus respectivos textos de apoio incluídos no livro do professor. Aderindo aos princípios do quadro teórico-metodológico do interacionismo sociodiscursivo (ISD), tomamos como objetivo deste trabalho verificar a (in)coerência entre a configuração das SDs selecionadas e os objetivos didáticos definidos para sua aplicação em aula, utilizando para isso os conceitos de operações de linguagem (MACHADO, 2005 e BRONCKART, 1999) e capacidades de linguagem (DOLZ; SCHNEUWLY, 1998) como unidades de análise. Aplicamos o instrumento de avaliação de materiais didáticos proposto por Machado (2001) e, ao final do processo, buscamos avaliar a utilização particular que fizemos dele. Os resultados apontam que a análise das operações de linguagem implicadas nos objetivos didáticos e nas atividades das SD é um recurso pertinente para a avaliação de SDs, embora possua algumas limitações / The publication of the National Curriculum Parameters for Portuguese Language (BRASIL, 1998) marks a redirection in the configuration of didactic materials for Portuguese Language teaching: they started focusing on the textual genres. The didactic dequence (DOLZ; NOVERRAZ; SCHNEUWLY, 2004), developed by Genève Language Didactics, has been recognized and applied in Brazil as an instrument in the systematized work with genres, promoting the development of the language capacities related to them. In this master degree work we analyze two DSs found in the didactic material for Portuguese Language produced and distributed by SESI-SP to students of the sixth grade, including the supporting texts presented in the teacher’s book. Adopting the theoretical-methodological parameters of the sociodiscursive interactionism, we aim to verify, based on the concepts of language operations (MACHADO, 2005 e BRONCKART, 1999) and language capacities (DOLZ; SCHNEUWLY, 1998) as unities of analysis, the (in)consistency between the configuration of the selected DSs and the didactic objectives defined for their application in classroom. We apply the evaluation instrument of didactic materials proposed by Machado (2001) and, at the end, we aim to evaluate its use by us. The results show that the analysis of the language operations implicated in the didactic objectives and in the activities of the DSs is, despite some limitations, a relevant resource for the evaluation of DSs
