Avaliou-se também o diâmetro folicular nos dias das aplicações do 1º GnRH e da PGF2a, as taxas de ovulação ao 1º GnRH, de sincronização da ovulação e de concepção à IATF. Fêmeas da raça Nelore em anestro pós-parto (n= 285), 117 primíparas e 168 multíparas, foram alocadas em fatorial 2 x 3 e distribuídas em 2 tratamentos de suplementação: T1 - 100 g/dia de mineral sem monensina sódica; T2 - 350 g/dia mineral com palatabilizante e com monensina sódica (150 mg/dia), de 30 dias pré-parto a 90 dias pós-parto. Em média aos 54 dias pós-parto, foi avaliado o índice de escore corporal (IEC; escala de 1 a 5) e realizada colheita de sangue para avaliação de IGF-I. No mesmo dia (dia 0) foram iniciadas as estratégias de sincronização da ovulação: tratamento controle: sem sincronização; protocolo 1: GnRH + inserção do CIDR® - 6d - remoção do CIDR® + PGF2a - 48h - GnRH + IATF; protocolo 2: GnRH + inserção do CIDR® - 6d - remoção do CIDR® + PGF2a - 24h - BE - 24h - IATF. Foram realizadas avaliações ultra-sonográficas do diâmetro do maior folículo nos dias das aplicações do 1o GnRH e da PGF2a. Todas as fêmeas, sincronizadas e controles, foram expostas a touros durante 160 dias. Os dados foram analisados por análise de variância, logística e sobrevivência, utilizando os programas GLM, Proc Logistic e Proc Lifetest do SAS, respectivamente. Suplementação com ou sem monensina alterou o IEC (3,1 vs. 3,0; P<0,05), as concentrações plasmáticas de IGF-I (115,5 vs. 88,7 ng/mL; P<0,05), o diâmetro folicular no dia do 1o GnRH (10,1 vs. 9,6 mm; P<0,05) e a taxa de ovulação ao 1o GnRH (35,9 vs. 31,5%; P<0,05), respectivamente... / The aim of this study was to evaluate if monensin supplementation during the pre and postpartum, associated with strategies of synchronization of the ovulation with fixed time artificial insemination (TAI), anticipates the pregnancy in Nelore cows. It was also evaluated the follicular diameter on the injection days of the 1o GnRH and of the PGF2a, ovulation to the 1o GnRH, synchronization of the ovulation and of the conception to IATF rates. Nelore cows in postpartum anestrous (n= 302), 117 primiparous and 168 multiparous, were allocated in 2 x 3 factorial arrangement and distributed in 2 treatments of supplementation: T1 - 100 g/d of mineral without sodic monensin; T2 - 350 g/d of mineral with sodic monensin (150 mg/d) and flavor (citric pulp), from 30 prepartum days to 90 postpartum days. In average to the 54 days postpartum, it was carried through the evaluation of the body condition score (BCS; scale from 1 to 5) and blood samples for evaluation of IGF-I. In the same day (day 0) the strategies of synchronization of the ovulation were initiated: control treatment: without synchronization; protocol 1: GnRH + insert CIDR® - 6d - removes CIDR® + PGF2a - 48h - GnRH + IATF; protocol 2: GnRH + insert CIDR® - 6d - removes CIDR® + PGF2a - 24h - BE - 24h - IATF. The evaluation of the diameter of the biggest follicle on the injection days of the 1o GnRH and of the PGF2a was by ultrasound. All the females, synchronized and controls were exposed to +bulls during 160 days. The data were analyzed by variance, logistic and survival analysis using the GLM program, Logistic and Lifetest procedures of SAS, respectively...
