All.). Para que estratégias de conservação sejam propostas um dos caminhos usados vem sendo a genética quantitativa, onde são estimados parâmetros genéticos, para alguns caracteres silviculturais. O presente trabalho apresenta testes de progênies de aroeira instalados, na Fazenda de Ensino e Pesquisa da Faculdade de Engenharia de Ilha Solteira/UNESP, no município de Selvíria-MS, em dois sistemas de plantio: a) condições homogêneas: dois testes de progênies instalados em dezembro de 1987, sendo que cada um continha 28 famílias das populações de Bauru-SP e Selvíria-MS, respectivamente. O delineamento experimental utilizado, foi o de blocos casualizados, com 28 tratamentos (famílias) e 3 repetições. As parcelas do experimento foram instaladas, obedecendo a uma disposição linear, com 10 plantas por parcela, no espaçamento de 3,0 x 3,0m; b) condições heterogêneas: instalados em fevereiro de 1992, contendo cada um 25 famílias das populações de Aramina-SP e Selvíria-MS, sendo que a cada um dos testes foi acrescentado mais de três famílias da outra população, o delineamento experimental utilizado, foi o de blocos casualizados, com 28 tratamentos (25 famílias de uma população e três da outra) e seis repetições. As parcelas do experimento foram instaladas na forma linear, com 8 plantas, no espaçamento 3,0 x 3,0m, sendo que todas as plantas de aroeira foram plantadas no centro de quatro plantas de candiúba (Trema micrantha). Nestes testes foram avaliados os seguintes caracteres: altura de plantas, DAP, sobrevivência, diâmetro médio da copa, florescimento e forma do fuste. Assim, o presente trabalho obteve informações sobre a estrutura genética de uma população natural de aroeira, onde... . / Among the specie that have been suffering strong human interferences it is the aroeira (Myracrodruon urundeuva Fr. This work analyze progeny tests of aroeira, in the Education and Research Farm of the Faculdade de Engenharia de Ilha Solteira/UNESP, in the city of Selvíria-MS, considering two plantation systems: a-) the homogeneous conditions: two progeny tests planted in December of 1987, where each were performed wicth 28 families of the populations of Bauru-SP and Selvíria-MS, respectively. The employed Experimental Design, was the randomized blocks, with 28 treatments (families) and 3 repetitions. The parcels of the experiment were located according a linear disposal, with 10 plants per parcel, in the row spacing of 3,0 x 3,0m; b) heterogeneous conditions: installed in February of 1992, with 25 families of the populations of Aramina-SP and Selvíria-MS, where each one of were added with three more families of the other population, the experimental design, was the randomized blocks, with 28 treatments (25 families of a population more three of the other) and six repetitions. The plots of the experiment were installed in the linear form, with 8 plants per plots, in row spacing 3,0 x 3,0m. Myracrodruon urundeuva plants trees were planted in the center of four plants of (Trema micrantha) candiúba. In the present tests the following characters were evaluated: height of plants, DAP, survival, average diameter of the top, bloom and form of the shaft.
