Previous issue date: 1993 / Resumo: Esta dissertação tem como objetivo desenvolver uma reflexão sobre a importância da escola na formação do autoconceito do aluno. Foi feita uma reflexo sobre a situação atual da escola e uma pesquisa bibliográfica a respeito de autoconceito. Ficou evidenciado que o desenvolvimento deste está diretamente ligado à esfera das relações interpessoais. No âmbito destas relações, especificadamente, na relação professor-aluno, ficou claro que a escola não privilegia um trabalho que leve considerações o autoconceito do aluno / Abstract: This essay has a goal to develop a reflexion about the importance of the school in forming the student self-concept. It was carried on a reflexion about the actual situation of the school as well a bibliographical survey about the self-concept. It was evidenced that the development of the self-concept is directly linked to the ambit of the inter-personnel relations. In the ambit of these relations, specifically in the student-teacher relations, it was clear that the school does not prize a task that takes into consideration the student self-concept, jeopardizing in this way, his or her personnel and pedagogical development / Mestrado / Psicologia Educacional / Mestre em Educação
