Previous issue date: 1989 / Resumo: O tipo de regime de lubrificação que ocorre na trefilação tem uma grande influencia nas condições de atrito, acabamento superficial e no desgaste da ferramenta. Este trabalho apresenta o estudo da lubrificação no tribo-sistema de trefilação a altas velocidades. É analisada a influencia da velocidade, viscosidade e da geometria da ferramenta no estabelecimento do regime de lubrificação na trefilação do aço inoxidável austenítico ABNT 304 L. Foi desenvolvido também um modelo físico-matemático para auxiliar na determinação das condições ideais para o estabelecimento da lubrificação, verificado pela análise dos resultados experimentais / Abstract: The lubrication regime which occurs in wiredrawing has a strong influence on frictional conditions, surface finish and tooling wear. This works presents a study of the lubricatio'n in wiredrawing tribo-system with high speeds. It is analyzed the influence of the drawing speed, the lubricant viscosity an the tool geometry in the formation of the lubrication regime in the wiredrawing of the austenitic stainless steel ABNT 304 L. It was also developed a physical-mathematical model to aid in the determination of the ideal conditions for the establishment of the hydrodynamic lubrication.
