Previous issue date: 1996 / Resumo: Esta dissertação apresenta resultados de uma pesquisa sobre a aquisição de novas tipologias textuais, pelo aluno de escola pública de 10 grau (53 a 83 série), dentro do campo dos problemas de ensino/aprendizagem de língua materna e as implicações dessa aquisição de tipologias na manutenção/alteração do papel social tanto do professor como de seus alunos. Este trabalho é constituído por um estudo longitudinal (de 53 à 83 série) da aquisição do texto narrativo, e pontual da aquisição do texto dissertativo em sua fase inicial (73 série para o texto dissertativo expositivo e 83 série, para o texto dissertativo argumentativo); no estudo, procura-se identificar as condições necessárias para a produção do texto dissertativo; a partir da participação em diálogos sobre temas de maior abrangência que aqueles comuns no cotidiano do aluno. Procurando constatar o conhecimento encicplopédico do aluno, procedeu-se à identificação do tipo de informações, dentre as muitas disponiveis nos textos estudados em sala de aula, que foram incorporadas a seu texto dissertativo, e o modo como se deu esta incorporação. A intenção dessa análise é verificar a possibilidade de interferência desse trabalho desenvolvido na escola na manutenção/alteração do já construído na consciência sociaVindividual do aluno. As produções de texto oriundas de atividades desenvolvidas na escola, orientadas por uma concepção de linguagem como forma de interação (concepção sócio-interacionista de linguagem) constituem a parte mais significativa do "corpus"desta pesquisa / Abstract: This dissertation, elaborated within a social-interactionist conception of language, presents the results of research on the acquisition of new textual typologies by public Junior High School students (5th to 8th grade). It deals with problems offirst language teaching and learning and the implications ofthe acquisition ofthese typologies on maintaining or modifYing teacher's as well as the students' social roles. A logitudinal study ofthe acquisition ofthe written narrative compositions (from 5th to 8th grades) and the impact of the introduction of written dissertative texts in the beginning of 7th and 8th grades is presented. I tried to identify the necessary conditions for the production of written dissertative compositions and observed how texts produced by 7th and 8th graders dialogued with other texts dealing with themes broader than those "common" to the students' daily experiences. Trying to discover the degree and content of the students' enciclopedic knowledge, we looked at the types of information (among that present in texts read in the classroom) which the students brought to their own dissertative compositions and how they did it.
