Previous issue date: 1991 / Resumo: Num estudo centrado na Análise do Discurso e auxilia do por teorias da enunciação e pela Teoria dos Atos de Fala, procuramos caracterizar o discurso quotidiano e mostrar sua organização. Para tanto, redefinimos noções que o cercam ¿ a saber, discurso oral, discurso social, enunciação e tema - e daí percebemos que o discurso produzido pelo Quotidiano age na própria estruturação da sociedade. Existiria um jogo estabelecido entre a situação social - à margem de qualquer instituição - e o discurso quotidiano que nela se dá: a situação constitui o elemento mais significativo da relação do discurso com o social. Propomos o conceito de conversa dentro de uma Teoria do Discurso como parte integrante dessa relação, base do conversar quotidiano; proveniente da função social de uma situação quotidiana, ela é "moto" dos discursos. Como ato social, suas regras, provêm de formas de conversa que as situações sociais institucionalizam - efeito de sentido entre interlocutores. Cumprindo uma função social e definindo-se discUrsivamente, teremos as práticas sociais, lugar de observação lingüística das marcas que o Quotidiano imprime à Conversa. Outra noção básica foi a de História da Conversa: o sentido já constituído, ao qual se recorre para que se dê o presente da conversa do quotidiano. Mais que tornar presente o que é dado de memória, a conversa vai transformar o que é repetido: o Quotidiano tem a força da transformação tirada da repetição. Assim, a Conversa redimensiona o Quotidiano / Abstract: In a study centered in the Discourse Analysis (French trend) assisted by enunciation and speech act theories, we intended to characterize everyday discourse and point out its or ganization. To do so, we have redefined notions that surround it, namely oral discourse, social discourse, enunciation and theme. It has been noticed that the discourse produced by Quotidian acts upon the structuring of society itself. There should be an interplay between the social situation - alongside of any situation - and everyday discourse that occurs in it: the situation is the most significant element in the relation between discourse and social dimension. We propose the concept of talk, within a Discourse Theory, as an integral part of-that relation, basis of everyday talk. Coming from the social function of a quotidian situation, the concept is the motu of discourses. As social act i ts rules come from talk forms that social situations institutionalize sense effect ("effect de sens") between subjects. Carrying out a social function and defíning itself discoursively we have social practices, the place, of linguistic observation that the Quotidian impress to Talk. Of marks Another basic notion was the one of History of Talk: the already constituted sense, which is resorted to so that the present of quotidian talk happens. More than turning present what is given by memory, talk will transform what is repeated: the Quotidian has the force of transformation taken from repe tition.
