Previous issue date: 1985 / Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho é desenvolver um controlador de temperatura tipo Proporcional - Integral - Derivativo (PID), o qual usa um microcomputador desenvolvido no laboratório de Instrumentação do IFGW - UNICAMP. Este controlador foi testado com um forno elétrico a aquecimento resistivo, apresentando uma precisão de 0,3 ºC em temperatura de 900 ºC. Foram construídas duas interfaces, uma para leitura do sinal do termopar , e outra para o controle da entrega de potência ao elemento aquecedor, assim como os programas aplicativos, desenvolvidos em linguagem FORTRAN IV e ASSEMBLER (assembler para o Z80) / Abstract: The objective of this work is the development of a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) temperature controller, which uses a microcomputer developed in the Laboratory for Instrumentation of the IFGW-UNICAMP. This controller was tested an electric furnace which resistive heating. The system achieves a precision 0.3 ºC at a temperature of 900 ºC. Two interfaces were developed. The first interface to read the thermocouple signal, the second one to control the power delivery to the heating element.
