Previous issue date: 2001 / Resumo: o objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar as especificidades históricas do regime ditatorial militar no Amapá, no período de 1964 a 1974. Dentro dos padrões nacionais do regime, no Amapá a ditadura militar apresentou visíveis peculiaridades que podem ser identificadas em pelos menos quatro dimensões: 1 - Uma subordinação radical da elite política amapaense ao centro definidor do poder naciona1, chegando a um extremo e caricatural servilismo, identificado pela absoluta falta de influência nos bastidores políticos do regime. 2 - A despeito de não desprezar os instrumentos padrões do terror de Estado vigente no período, no Amapá a ditadura aproveitou-se do imaginário fantástico dominante para criar formas de admoestações adequadas a essa cultura. 3 - Ainda que o medo das torturas, perseguições e prisões fosse algo presente nas pessoas, no Amapá configurou-se ele, sobretudo, através de uma visão mágica do opositor ao regime visto como um ser irreal e fantástico capaz de terríveis proezas super-humanas. 4 - Por fim, a insignificância demográfica e a cultura tradicional e comunitária, que tinham as relações presenciais e de vizinhança como elemento estrutural, impediu o anonimato e, por conseqüência, a resistência ao poder ditatorial nos moldes da que ocorreu nas grandes metrópoles, baseada em princípios racionalistas, efetivada em organizações partidárias, tendo como modo de ação principal a luta armada. A resistência no Amapá, ainda que tenha tido seus claros momentos de enfrentamento e de organização, foi, fundamentalmente, uma resistência molecular e às escondidas, disfarçada de arte, vandalismo, silêncio, recusas e afirmações nem sempre conscientes, mas indicativas de não conformidade, de uma luta de indivíduos e grupos para sobreviverem livres e autônomos em uma condição opressiva e castradora / Abstract: The goal of this project is to demonstrate the historical specificalities of the dictatorial military in Amapá, during the period of 1964 to 1974. Whithin the national patterns regime, in Amapá the dictatorial regime presented visible peculiarities which can
be identified at least in four dimensions: 1 - A radical obedience from the political elite of Amapá to the center of national defined power, coming to an extreme and caricatural servilism, identified by the absolute lack of influence in the political backstages of the regime. 2 - For the reason of not undervaluing the standard instruments of terror on the actual state during the period, in Amapá the dictatorial regime took advantage of the fantastic imaginary dominant to create new shapes of admonitions adequaded to this
culture. 3 - Even if the fear of tortures, chasings and prisons were something surrounding the people, in Amapá it configured, above all, through the magical vision of the regime opponent, seen as an unreal and fantastic creature capable of terrible and superhumans
braveries. 4 - By the end, the demographic insignificance and the traditional and social culture, which they had the present and neighbouring relations like the structural element, avoided the anonymity and, for consequence, the resistance to the dictatorial
power in the same way that had succeded into the big metropolises, based on rational principles, accomplished in party organisations, containing as a principal way of acting the armed struggle. The resistance in Amapá even if it had clear moments of confront and
organisation was, basically, a molecular and blind resistance, disguised of art, vandalism, silence, denials and affirmations not always conscious, but not indicating agreement, from a struggle of individuais and groups to survive freely and autonomously in a oppressive
