Previous issue date: 2005 / Resumo: A presente pesquisa se deu a partir de uma investigação sobre o gestus brechtino. Partimos a princípio da utilização dos seguintes modelos: a teoria do gestus brechtiano, a Cena de rua e a Peça didática, todos de Bertolt Brecht. A pesquisa se caracterizou por seu caráter prático e experimental, gerando assim uma reflexão acerca de um ¿fazer artístico¿. Foi desenvolvido um processo de investigação sobre a nossa sociedade atual, sobre situações do cotidiano. Saímos às ruas, e nos deparamos com uma série de pichações, frases e pensamentos grafitados em muros. Coletamos este material rico em contradições e construímos um espetáculo teatral: ¿Pixei e saí correndo pau no cu de quem tá lendo...¿. Nesta imersão dentro da nossa realidade encontramos referências do movimento hip hop, manifestação político-cultural que atua de modo significativo na sociedade de hoje, com elas aprendemos muito, e através delas pudemos estabelecer relações entre a nossa prática artística, os modelos brechtianos e a nossa realidade. Buscamos entender a nova lógica das ruas e do comportamento humano, e a partir deste entendimento, propusemos uma releitura do gestus brechtiano. Enfim, pudemos enxergar o mundo sob uma nova ótica e concomitantemente fazer um teatro mais próximo da nossa realidade / Abstract: The present research began with the investigation about the Brechtian gestus. We started at the beginning with the use of the following models: the theory of the Brechtian gestus, the Street Scene (Cena de rua) and the Didactic Play (Peça didática), all from Bertolt Brecht. The research has got its characteristics for its practice and experimental character, leading so to a refletion about the ¿artistic practice¿. A process of investigation about our actual society and about daily situations was developed. As we went out on the streets we found a bunch of grafitti, sentences and thoughts written on the walls. We got all this material, rich in contraditions, then we set a theater show called ¿Pixei e saí correndo pau no cu de quem tá lendo...¿. In such immersion in our reality we found referals over the Hip Hop movement as well as cultural and politics manifestations which acts in such significant way in our nowaday society. We learned so much from and through them we could establish relations among our artistic practice, the Brechtian models and our reality. We made an efford to understand the street new way of thinking and also the new human behavior. From this understanding on we proposed a Brechtian gestus new reading. Thus, we could see the world over a new glance and at the same time do a play which is closer to our reality / Mestrado / Artes / Mestre em Artes
