Previous issue date: 2001 / Resumo: o estudo da Anatomia Comparada, tem sido um tema relevante para inúmeros trabalhos científicos que procuram estabelecer prováveis correlações filogênicas entre os animais e o Homem. No intuito de estimar correlações anatõmicas entre o Cebus aoella e a espécie humana, este trabalho descreve o padrão vascular das artérias encontradas na coxa desse animal, seguindo uma linha de pesquisa já existente nos laboratórios de Anatomia Humana da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). Foram utilizados para a execução deste trabalho, 10(dez) espécimes, sendo 5(cinco) machos e 5(cinco) fêmeas. Os animais foram anestesiados com inalação de clorofórmio e em seguida, sacrificados por perfusão intravenosa (veia femoral) de Ketalar, em seguida, foram tricotomizados e injetados com Látex corado em vermelho, logo após os animais foram fixados com solução aquosa de formol a 10 %,a seguir, efetuou-se a dissecação da região a ser estudada. Seguindo este procedimento constatou-se que na coxa do macaco Cebus aoella encontra-se os seguintes ramos; artérias ilíaca externa, femoral, epigástrica inferior, obturatória, circunflexa medial da coxa, circunflexa lateral da coxa com seus ramos ascendentes, descendentes e transversais, epigástrica superficial, pudenda externa, pudenda interna, profunda da coxa, ramos musculares, ramos articulares, artérias perfurantes, poplítea, colaterais do joelho, safenas magna e parva, seguindo uma descrição sintética, analisando os aspectos de freqüência, número, origem, trajeto e distribuição / Abstract: The Comparative Anatomy study has been used as an important issue for various scientific researches that want to stablish a probable evolutionary correlation between animais and the human being. With the purpose of stablishing evolutionary anatomical correlations between the Cebus apella and the human being, this paper describes the artery vessel patern found on this animal, 08 (eight) specimens, 04 (four) male and 04 (four) female ones. The animais were pre anesthetized by inhaling chloroform and afterwards sacrificed by intravenous perfusion (femoral vein) of Ketalar. Then they were divided into three parts to facilitate the handling and to better spot the veins and arteries. The next step was to inject the arteries with latex died in red and immediately afterwards the animais were fixed with an aqueous solution of formaldehyde at 10% and kept on this solution for a undetermined period. Then the dissection of the anterolateral side of the thigh took place, followed by cleaning of the femoral artery and its branches. With this procedure, it was possible to notice the following arteries on the thigh of the Cebus aDella monkey; external iliac artery, femoral artery, epigastric inferior artery, obturator artery, medial femoral circunflex, lateral femoral circunflex: branchs ascendent, descending and transverse, superficial epigastric, external pudendal, internal pudendal, deep femoral artery, muscular branches, articular branches, perforating arteries, popliteal artery, geniculares, saphenous great and short arteries, tibial artery followed by a summarized description trying to analyse the aspects of frequency, quantity, origin, track and distribution. The femoral artery pattern of the Cebus does not differ much from the one found on the human being and other monkeys. The biggest difference may be the presence of two saphenous great and short arteries / Mestrado / Mestre em Biologia e Patologia Buco-Dental
