Previous issue date: 2006 / Introdução: A mama tem sido o centro de expressão máxima da feminilidade, reconhecida através dos tempos e em diferentes culturas como um símbolo de sensualidade e maternidade. A importância cultural das mamas fez com que as distorções de tamanho e forma, como a hipomastia, fossem consideradas anomalias mamárias. O banco de dados informatizado para coleta de informações clínicas de
pacientes portadores de hipomastia, com capacidade de resgate, cruzamento e compartilhamento automatizados destas informações facilitará a atividade clínica, o ensino médico e a produção de estudos científicos de qualidade. Objetivo: Desenvolver um protocolo informatizado para coleta, armazenamento e resgate de
dados para o exame clínico, diagnóstico e tratamento cirúrgico de pacientes com
hipomastia. Métodos: Realizada pesquisa sistemática na literatura, com revisão
bibliográfica específica, em que foram pesquisados dados referentes ao exame clínico
e tratamento cirúrgico da hipomastia, tomando-se como suporte os principais livrostexto
que abordam o tema, além de artigos científicos das principais bases de dados
(LILACS, SCIELO, MEDLINE). As variáveis encontradas relacionadas à hipomastia
foram organizadas na forma de questionário abrangente, com respostas objetivas que
segue a orientação propedêutica de investigação e tratamento desta alteração. A
informatização do protocolo foi realizada com o auxílio do software denominado
SINPE© (Sistema Integrado de Protocolos Eletrônicos). Resultados: Foram
encontradas 458 variáveis relacionadas ao tema, organizadas na forma de um
questionário abrangente, com respostas objetivas seguindo a orientação propedêutica
de investigação e tratamento da hipomastia. Conclusão: Desenvolvido instrumento
eletrônico de coleta, recuperação e compartilhamento de dados clínicos e cirúrgicos de
pacientes com diagnóstico de hipomastia. / Introduction: The breast has been the highest expression of the feminility, represented and recognized in many culture as a symbol of sensuality and maternity. Its significance to physical and psychological female integrity is so important that any abnormality in size and shape are considered primary breast abnormalities. Computerized data base to collect information from patients with mammary hypoplasia and with the capacity of rescue, computerized crossing and sharing of these
pieces of information will make the clinic activity, the medical and the production of
high quality scientific studies much easier. Objective: To develop a computerized
protocol for collecting, storing and rescuing clinical information, diagnose and surgery
treatment in patients with hypomasty. Methods: A systematic research in literature,
with a specific bibliography revision, where information referring to clinical exam and
hypomasty surgery treatment was accomplished, having most important text-books
approaching the theme as a support, besides some scientific articles researched in the
main data base (LILACS, SCIELO, MEDLINE). The variables found referred to the
hypomasty were organized in comprehensive questionnaire with objective answers
that follow the propedeutical orientation of investigation and treatment of mammary
hypoplasia. The computerized system of this protocol was carried out with the help of
the software called SINPE (Sistema Integrado de Protocolos Eletrônicos). Results: A
total of 458 variables concerning this topic, organized as a comprehensive
questionnaire, with objective answers following the propedeutical orientation of
investigation and hypomasty treatment were found. Conclusion: An electronic
instrument was created to collect, recover and share clinical and surgery information
