This The main theme of this work is the production and spreading of scientific knowledge nowadays. In order to approach that, our research starts with the Brazilian institutional repositories (RI). In this analysis we try to understand the variety of discursive procedures that specify the way institutional repositories work when it comes to the discourse. Institutional repositories are considered in terms of “public” and “private” in this “research-analysis”.
This research was made in accordance with theoretical-methodological assumptions of Discourse Analysis (AD) of French tradition as it appears in the works of Michel Pêcheux, with a materialistic theory of the discursive procedures. Considering the institutional repositories beyond their utilitarian dimension, we aim at deconstructing some evidences in which the institutional repository is defined as “a type of digital library” in order to understand its discursive functioning. In the analysis, we consider how language, unconscious, and ideology relate in a way as to constitute: 1) the sayings and meanings produced through this functioning; and 2) the subjects acting therein.
The work presents a theoretical deepening on the notion of archive, promoted by bringing closer the propositions of Jacques Derridá and the way the archive is dealt with in the discursive perspective of Michel Pêcheux. Among the variety of meanings produced in the functioning of the RI, in this dissertation some possible meanings worked with are related to the notions of relevance, legitimacy, utility, authorship, and democratization.
The question of democratization of scientific knowledge is broadly discussed in the work. We make this discussion considering that the functioning of the RI is permeated by many discourses, among which are the discourses of transparency and of free access to scientific information. Also, we mobilize the theoretical notion of device, shifting it from the foucauldian perspective to think its functioning in terms of an inscription in the discourse(s), as proposed by Michel Pêcheux. With such a shifting, we go beyond the utilitarian dimension inherent to the functioning of the RI, and we aim at understanding how this matter of democratization of scientific knowledge is currently materialized, in this functioning, in terms of archive policies. By doing that, we work not only to specify some science-technology-administration relations that are present, but also to suggest other possible policies, that is, other ways of saying-doing science and other relations among the subjects in the processes of production and circulation of scientific knowledge. / Submitted by Marcio José da Silva (marcio.silva36@unisul.br) on 2018-09-22T01:05:23Z

Previous issue date: 2018 / A temática central deste trabalho é a produção e a circulação do conhecimento científico na atualidade. Para tratar disso, desenvolvemos nossa pesquisa tomando como ponto de partida os repositórios institucionais (RI) brasileiros. Trata-se de uma análise pela qual buscamos compreender os diversos processos discursivos que especificam o funcionamento dos RI em relação ao(s) discurso(s). Trabalhamos nesta pesquisa-análise pensando os RI em termos de ‘público’ e ‘privado’.
Esta pesquisa foi realizada em consonância com pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da Análise de Discurso (AD) de tradição francesa, conforme proposta a partir dos trabalhos de Michel Pêcheux, enquanto uma teoria materialista dos processos discursivos. Extrapolando a dimensão utilitarista dos RI, buscamos desconstruir algumas evidências pelas quais o RI é definido como ‘um tipo de biblioteca digital’ para compreender seu funcionamento discursivo. Na análise, consideramos as relações entre língua, linguagem, inconsciente e ideologia que constituem tanto os dizeres e sentidos que se produzem por meio deste funcionamento, quanto os sujeitos que aí se inscrevem.
O Trabalho apresenta um aprofundamento teórico acerca da noção de arquivo, promovido por meio de uma aproximação entre as proposições de Jacques Derridá e o modo como o arquivo é tratado na perspectiva discursiva, a partir de Michel Pêcheux. Dentre os diversos efeitos de sentido que se produzem no funcionamento dos RI, formam trabalhados nesta tese alguns que dizem respeito às noções de relevância, legitimidade, utilidade, autoria e democratização.
A questão da democratização do conhecimento científico é amplamente discutida no trabalho. Fazemos esta discussão considerando que o funcionamento dos RI é atravessado por diversos discursos, dentre eles, os discursos da transparência e do livre acesso à informação científica. Mobilizarmos também a noção teórica de dispositivo, deslocando-a desde a perspectiva foulcaultiana para pensar seu funcionamento em termos de uma inscrição no(s) discursos, conforme proposto por Michel Pêcheux. Ao promover tal deslocamento, extrapolamos a dimensão utilitarista inerente ao funcionamento dos RI, visando compreender como esta questão da democratização do conhecimento científico encontra-se materializada, neste funcionamento, em termos de políticas de arquivo. Neste gesto, trabalhamos tanto para especificar algumas relações entre ciência-tecnologia-administração aí presentes, quanto para propor outras políticas possíveis, isto é, outros modos de dizer-fazer ciência e outras relações entre os sujeitos nos processos de produção e circulação do conhecimento científico.
