Previous issue date: 2014-11-10 / This dissertation investigates under the perspective of
the concept of dramaturgy the shifting relationship with
the field of dance and objectively detects issues and
draws a path of transformation of this concept. This
dissertation investigates the concept of dramaturgy and
the shifting relationship with the field of dance and
objectively detects issues from the perspective of
dramaturgy and draws a path of transformation of this
concept. For that, I trace a parallel between theater and
dance, and establish relationships to develop and
broaden the understanding of the concept and practice of
dramaturgy in these two fields. The selection of artists
used to develop this thought, is not intended as generic,
but punctual, and helps to visualize and create
relationships on the dramaturgical practice and its
evolution. The main artists that I use to guide the idea of
dramaturgy in theater and dance are Gotthold Ephraim
Lessing, Jean-Georges Noverre, Mary Wigman, Kurt
Jooss, Martha Graham, Doris Humphrey, Véslovod
Meyerhold, Jerzy Grotowski, Tadeusz Kantor, Pina
Bausch, Bertold Brecht, Merce Cunningham, Anna
Halprin. Thus point to an understanding of dramaturgy
that exists prior to its introduction as a concept in dance,
through concern for the production of meaning in the
experience of dance.
Georges Noverre, Mary Wigman, Kurt Jooss, Marta
Graham, Doris Humphrey, Véslovod Meyerhold, Jerzy
Grotowski, Tadeuz Kantor, Pina Bausch, Bertold Brecht,
Merce Cunningham e Anna Halprin. A utilização destes
daquela.
