Previous issue date: 2014-12-15 / This work deals of the encryption in block in the teaching of matrices, showing practically an application relating to encryption with the matrices. We will study the encryption; state the de nitions and matrix operations; describe the encryption in block; problems related with the encryption in block; and in the end of this work to propose activities to be implemented in the classroom. / Este trabalho trata da criptografia em blocos no ensino de matrizes, mostrando de forma pr ática uma aplica ção que relaciona a criptografi a com as matrizes. Vamos estudar a criptografi a; enunciar as de finições e opera ções com matrizes; descrever a criptogra fia em blocos; problemas relacionados com a criptogra fia em blocos; e na parte final deste trabalho propor atividades a serem aplicadas em sala de aula.
