Previous issue date: 2017-03-22 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / We sought to analyze the homoerotic representations in Lampião da Esquina, between 1978 and 1981, to understand how the homosexual discourses on homosexuality represented these subjects during the formation of militant homosexual groups in Brazil. The main objective of this work is to interpret the construction of senses and the discursive practices that stressed the male homoerotic representations in the pages of Lampião da Esquina. In addition, we aimed at some secondary and specific guidelines: historicizing Lampião da Esquina; to present the tensions involving the newspaper, its readers and militant homosexual groups; and, finally, to analyze the homoerotic representations that indicated greater divergence in Lampião da Esquina on effeminate practices. For this, we start with the following question: how did the discursive practices in the newspaper deconstruct stereotypes and reconstructed ideal types that encouraged homosexuals to assume their sexuality? As a theoretical reference, we adopt Michel Foucault's reflections on discourse analysis and Judith Butler on the concept of performativity. Methodologically, we start from the historical contextualization and selection of the sources. Next, we analyze, mainly, the sections Opinião and Cartas na Mesa. We conducted a discourse analysis on the sections cited to compose a file about the representation of male homosexuals, in which the analyzed representations appear. Of these representations we highlight those referring to effeminacy, travestilities and masculinities, because we seem to express better the relations of power between the subjects involved in the discursive production observed in the journal. / Buscamos analisar as representações homoeróticas no Lampião da Esquina, entre 1978 e 1981, para compreender como os discursos sobre homossexualismo, no jornal produzido por homossexuais, representavam esses sujeitos durante a formação de grupos homossexuais militantes no Brasil. O objetivo principal deste trabalho é interpretar a construção de sentidos e as práticas discursivas que tensionaram as representações homoeróticas do sexo masculino nas páginas do Lampião da Esquina. Além disso, objetivamos algumas pautas secundárias e específicas: historicizar o Lampião da Esquina; apresentar as relações de tensão envolvendo o jornal, seus leitores e os grupos homossexuais militantes; e, por fim, analisar as representações homoeróticas que indicavam maior divergência no Lampião da Esquina sobre práticas efeminadas. Para isso, partimos de uma simples questão: ─Como as práticas discursivas no jornal desconstruíam estereótipos e reconstruíam tipos ideais que incentivavam os homossexuais a assumirem sua sexualidade? Como referencial teórico, adotamos as reflexões de Michel Foucault sobre análise de discurso e de Judith Butler sobre o conceito de performatividade. Metodologicamente, partimos da contextualização histórica e seleção das fontes. Em seguida analisamos, principalmente, as seções Opinião e Cartas na Mesa. Efetuamos uma análise de discurso sobre as seções citadas para compor um arquivo a respeito da representação de homossexuais do sexo masculino, no qual aparecem as representações analisadas. Dessas representações destacamos as que se referiam à efeminação, a travestilidades e a masculinidades, porque nos parecem expressar melhor as relações de poder entre os sujeitos envolvidos na produção discursiva observada no periódico.
