Previous issue date: 2014-01-17 / This thesis argues that the doctrine of spoudaios presented in the Nicomachean Ethics received the influence of the homonymous doctrine elaborated by the Cynicism several decades before the writing of the treatise of Aristotle. As asserted by the Cynics, the Stagirite says that happiness is the prize of excellence of character and this is only achieved by the spoudaios who is the personification of the criterion of excellent desires and rational measure that makes virtuous the action. The other agents should follow the spoudaios in his conduct because he is the paradigm of the human character's excelence. Aristotle began his research in ethics under the influence of Platonism and modified their philosophical orientation when realize that the doctrine of his master would lead to unsolvable aporias when applied to human action. In the Nicomachean Ethics, following the Cynic perspective, Aristotle developed his doctrine of ethic virtue having in the spoudaios its central figure. / Esta tese sustenta que a doutrina do spoudaios apresentada na ?tica a Nic?maco recebeu a influ?ncia da doutrina hom?nima elaborada pelo Cinismo v?rias d?cadas antes da reda??o do tratado de Arist?teles. Tal como asseveravam os c?nicos, o Estagirita afirma que a felicidade ? o pr?mio da excel?ncia do car?ter e esta somente ? atingida pelo spoudaios que ? a personifica??o do crit?rio dos desejos excelentes e da medida racional que torna virtuosa a a??o. Os demais agentes devem seguir o spoudaios em sua conduta porque ele ? o paradigma da excel?ncia do car?ter humano. Arist?teles iniciou suas pesquisas em ?tica sob a influ?ncia do platonismo e modificou sua orienta??o filos?fica ao perceber que a doutrina de seu mestre levaria a aporias insol?veis quando aplicada ?s a??es humanas. Na ?tica a Nic?maco, seguindo a perspectiva c?nica, Arist?teles desenvolveu sua doutrina da virtude ?tica tendo no spoudaios a sua figura central.
