O presente texto, apresentado sob o título Do pão à toalha de mesa: uma abordagem poética por prolongamentos, é o resultado de uma pesquisa em Poéticas Visuais desenvolvida no decorrer de quatro anos, entre 2003 e 2007. Os trabalhos são fotografias, objetos e intervenções que realizam um movimento de prolongamento: extensão de tempo e espaço e expansão dos sentidos. Prolongamento do pão à toalha de mesa é, deste modo, um prolongamento prático e também teórico. O pão e a toalha de mesa se tornam autênticos objetos de jogo, jogo de construção e desconstrução da experiência, que articula modos de conhecer o mundo. O texto se desenvolve como uma cartografia móvel e deslizante, um meio de suspender o objeto em processo a um estado de constelação de idéias, a ligar pontos, tentando não paralisá-lo em um sistema exclusivo e fechado de pensamento. A necessidade de baldar o discurso (arma do poder) se faz premente, em uma busca inquieta e escorregadia, aquela que tenta fazer a experiência tornar ao centro. Para isso, é lançando mão de recursos, como a narrativa e a descrição, em uma tentativa de devolver o discurso a uma instância anterior àquela do artificialismo. / This text, entitled Do pão à toalha de mesa: uma abordagem poética por prolongamentos, (From the bread toward the tablecloth: a poetic approach through prolongations), is the result of the research project in Visual Poetics developed for the last four years, 2003 to 2007. The works are photographs, objects and interventions that produce a movement of prolongation: extension of time and space, and expansion of the senses. In this way, the prolongation of the bread toward the tablecloth is also both a practical and theoretical prolongation. The bread and the tablecloth become authentic objects in a game, a game of construction and deconstruction of the experience that articulates ways of knowing the world. The text develops like a mobile and sliding cartography, a way to suspend the object in its process toward a constellational state of ideas, where points are linked together and try not to paralyze it in an exclusive, closed system of thought. The necessity to thwart discourse (weapon of power) becomes urgent in a disquieting and slipping search, one that tries to make the experience focus back at the center. This is why I have sought to make use of resources such as narrative and description in the attempt to return the discourse to an instance prior to that of artificiality.
