O presente estudo possui características de uma pesquisa de natureza exploratória, cujo foco é caracterizar a evolução do pensamento administrativo desde seus primórdios até a ReAdministração, através das escolas selecionadas, tendo o homem como centro de referência. A idéia aqui esboçada é identificar os vários modelos de homem, preconizados pelas ou subjacentes 'as várias escolas do pensamento administrativo, desde o homo economicus da Escola Clássica ao homem total da ReAdministração. O produto final deste estudo visa oferecer uma melhor compreensão do homem como elemento-chave para o entendimento do sucesso - ou insucesso - de uma organização. / The present study has the characteristic of an exploratory research. The focus is to characterize the evolution of the administrative thinking from the early times to the ReAdministration, based on selectec schools, being the man the center of the study. The main ideia here outlined is to identify the various models of men - according to the different Administrative Schools, from the homo economicus of the Classic School to the total man ot the ReAdministration. The final product of the present study is a better understanding of man as the key-element to the success of organizations.
