Neste trabalho procura-se desenvolver dois elementos retangulares com o objetivo de se estudar as tensões e deformações que ocorrem em folhas poliédricas, e em estruturas que podem ser aproximadas por meio de uma folha poliédrica. São desenvolvidos dois elementos. Um, segundo a formulação do método dos deslocamentos (modelo compatível) e outro, segundo a formulação híbrida com campo de tensões assumidas. Foram realizados diversos testes, utilizando ambos elementos, e comparando-se os resultados obtidos com resultados experimentais obtidos por diversos experimentadores. A maioria dos testes foi feita com dois tipos de malha para que se tivesse uma idéia da rapidez da convergência dos elementos. São apresentadas numerosas tabelas e gráficos com os resultados. / This work is concerned with the development of general space rectangular elements for the study of the stress and deformation behaviour of folded plate-type structures, and also shell structures which can be approximated by an assemblage of plane elements. Two elements are developed. One , following the formulation of the displacement method (compatible model) and the other, following the formulation of the hybrid model with assumed stress fields. Several tests were carried out, using both elements, and comparing the numerical results with experimental results obtained by several other researchers. Most of the tests were done using to types o f meshes. The objective was to have an idea of the convergence rate of the elements. Several tables and graphics are presented with the results.
